Though Bode is saying this out of jealous of Buhari popularity among Yorubas. Imaging Obasanjo (self acclaim Yoruba leader) spent 8 Years but couldn't do this for a man from his tribe.

As you have said INEC is the only body empowered to do that.

Buhari declaring MKO president is not a noble act. It is a political move. Aimed at advancing his selfish motives at the expense of docile short-sighted Yorubas.

My fellow clansmen, it is said that a child does not point at his father's house with his left hand, but sometimes, we need to tell ourselves the bitter truth. Our paucity of willpower and drive is the biggest most dominant reason why Nigeria is the way it is. We see the enemy quite clearly, but like the proverbial goat who sees the cane in one hand and the cassava in the other, we are rooted to the spot, forgetting that it is only one cassava. Theres many more out there.

What is Bode George's problem MKO Abiola won the June-12 1993 presidential election with an over whelming majority nationwide.

Since the then military junta of the likes of IBB, Abacha & even Buhari were involved in the annulment, it's now imperative that Abiola be declear president even post humously regardless of acknowleding June-12 as Democracy Day.
that can only be done by INEC and not Buhari
