And the foolish drug pushers say we are following Hausas around. In the first four positions of the country, no region has more than one post except the SW while some regions don't even have any. We are teaching you politics in 21st century.

even if u subtract d 14 votes from 79 and add it to d 28, he will still win, so it was a nice game plan for d lawmakers not putting ur eggs in one basket.....now dat apc have their prefer candidate in both chambers....no more excuses

2. The speaker should have gone to the north central while the deputy goes to the south east. There are APC members from the south east and there are also die hard Buharists that are Igbos. It is an insult to them to leave the south east out of everything. I feel so sad about this walahi.

Kindly mention two APC members present today from SE

BafanaBafana:
On this NASS elections let me speak my mind.
1. Ndume was my preffered candidate. He is a true comrade, I feel a Lawan led senate will be boring. Ndume is a true APC man, a core progressive and he isn't as dubious as saraki.
2. The speaker should have gone to the north central while the deputy goes to the south east. There are APC members from the south east and there are also die hard Buharists that are Igbos. It is an insult to them to leave the south east out of everything. I feel so sad about this walahi.
3. VP and speaker house of reps are from Lagos. WTF!
4. As we have all seen, notherners voted for a yoruba man even when a hausa man was contesting. I hope all those who will always say the north will always support their own can now see.

Is the VP from Lagos or Ogun

PDP is the most undisciplined party in Nigeria. That is why it is attractive to all manner of people. Exactly what Adams Oshiomole has been trying to correct in APC. They tolerated a conniving Saraki who conspired with PDP to snatch power in 2015. They tolerated these betrayal and even echoed and praised it to high heavens. They allowed corrupt unsellable politicians to contest under it's party for Governorship and Senate. While APC is gradually returning power to the grassroots by encouraging primary voting, PDP keeps giving automatic tickets to its powerful candidates.

The only language PDP folks understand is money. All in all, both parties are thieves and are in these for nothing but their individual interests. The pawns are the people and Nigerians cos they are going to do nothing for the next 4 years. After sharing and looting Nigeria dry, they will only pass laws that will favour them and them alone. Nigerians are the pawns yet you see the stewpid afonjas and pigs will fight themselves to the death to defend corrupt pot bellied thieves who are ready to steal their generation unborn wealth till nothing is left.

Ebullience:
Dr Adegbola Dominic, the Lagos State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has bemoaned the lack of indiscipline in the party, saying it was manifested in the National Assembly elections held today.

Seventeen PDP lawmakers voted for Senate President Ahmed Lawan in disregard of the directive of the PDP leadership that Ali Ndume should be elected as Senate President.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has 62 lawmakers while the opposition PDP has 44 and Young Democratic Party (YDP) has one.

Two senatorial seats of Imo State remain vacant. However, Lawan polled 79 votes while Ndume scored only 28 votes.

Speaking in a chat with INDEPENDENT, Dominic said it is surprising that when the national leadership of the party gave a directive to PDP lawmakers-elect to vote for Senator Ali Ndume, many of them disobeyed and voted for Senator Ahmad Lawan who has been elected Senate President.

He said “Our party gave a directive and arrived at a position that our members should vote for a particular candidate as Senate President. But we could see that they did not follow the directives of our party. That shows there is no discipline in our party”.

“If it is a disciplined party, members should follow the directives of the party at all times. This should teach the national leadership a lesson that it is important for them to maintain discipline in the party”.

“Because all along, they have been encouraging indiscipline in state chapters of the party, that is why that kind of action happened in the chambers of the national assembly.

“Now that they have seen the effect of indiscipline, they should do everything possible to instil discipline and stop acts of insubordination at all levels”.

So.. he is saying APC that insisted on party supremacy and discipline is right after all. PDP come and arrest your errand boy.... e de yarn nonsense...

Non partisan commentary. God bless your heart. APC have actually continued from where PDP stopped destroying Nigeria, but the way some folks deodorize PDP as lesser evil sometimes makes me pitch my tent with APC. APC and PDP are one and the same. One party with different identities...
