I am not a Chelsea fan but I liked Lampard as a player. He had everything going for him in the first half just unlucky to score few goals and potentially seal the game in the first half..

But eh.. no manager deserves this kind of trashing in their first league game, I know we still have 37 more games to go but yet still... Lampard's facial expressions wanted to make me cry for him.. he was really sad. So for all you all key board coaches, arm chair quarterbacks, pundits, it is not that easy when you are coaching a live game.

My quick review of the game.. Paul Pogba was impressive, finally lived up to his expectations, play making. I really enjoyed how he was not selfish, rather set up newbie James to bag a goal against a big team.

Wan- Bissaka was excellent, I liked how he moved very good buy.

De Gea our able captain was excellent, he wanted to show Kepa how the job is done

Maguire was money well spent.. he seem to gel with Lindelof's playing style.. good combo.

What I didn't like so much was switching Martial and Rashford. Martial was good last season cutting in from the side while Rashford was good causing trouble in the middle. Why switch them?

Wan Bissaka and Maguire were solid buys.

What a performance by the entire team.

In hindsight starting Abraham was a wrong move by Lampard. I hope his learning curve is short because I like him.

Chelsea defenders caused the loss, from the penalty spot kick to wrong marking, to losing focus of Man U strikers. Although our striker Tammy contributed to the loss for not being clinical in front of goal.

Truth be told as a man utd fan, the team's performance in this match is below par. The mid field is woeful. We took advantage of Chelsea's lack of coordination in the defense line. Man city, Liverpool will annihilate this Man utd team.

Chelsea played well. Their defense and creativity at goal front caused them.

That being said, congrats to Man utd
