frankcj: volvo are very reliable your profile say you are in london so i dont see the need to ask for availability of parts as for cost there are average i drive an s40 auto CD model full leather interior and air condition mileage on the clock 130 000miles but she still droves like new |

The S40 and S60 are totally different cars to start with. I'm in Nigeria and I use an S60. Trust me, it isn't meant for kids here in Nigeria. Parts are both scarce and expensive, even as expensive as Mercedes parts. But all this doesn't stop me from loving the Swedish beauty. The S60 is a great car and honestly is an alternative to the Mercedes C class and BMW 3 series. It feels so safe and luxurious. So far the only issues I have had are suspension related due to the horrible roads in Nigeria. Car runs great. I really can't say much about the S40 as it is a totally different design and chassis. Although the 05 and above S40 share parts and chassis with the European Ford Focus, so I guess parts should be fairly available. |
