A Kenyan woman in Muradi, Embakasi area in a coma at the Kenyatta National Hospital after her estranged husband allegedly attacked her with a sledgehammer.

George Mutoko who reportedly arrived home drunk attacked his wife, Lillian Ngandii Juda after a slight quarrel.

A relative of Ngandii said after the attack,the wife began to bleed and then fell unconscious.

“He actually hit her in front of her six year old boy. It is the boy who went out and called the neighbours telling them that his mother has died,” said Kennedy Siboe the husband to Ngandii’s sister.
