It is no news that wherever Nigerians go, crime is next to follow. As painful as this sound, as much as we want to continue to live in denial, it is the honest truth that has to be said, and the earlier we recognize and admit that there's a problem, the earlier we will be able to solve the problem.

Look at the activities of Nigerians in Spain, Italy, South Africa, UAE (Dubai) and recently Ghana. These countries are tired of Nigerians in their country, it is always one bad news or the other.

Now, what actions could be taken to prevent such?

In my opinion.

1. Yes, a country has approved you a visa, the Nigerian immigration should scrutinize Nigerians travelling out of the country properly, if you are traveling without a legit reason, which must be verified then you have no reason to travel. When you go a foreign land without any means of survival to hustle, crime becomes your primary source of money.

2. If you are caught committing any crime abroad, the Nigerian government should have you extradited, so at least you don't rot in a foreign jail. Then such person should be banned from traveling out of the country for the next 10 years. I believe when people think of this, it will make them sit up.
