It has to do with the oil from their ground and LOW population in the country (aka 2.8M inhabitants)... So it's way more money to share amongst its people and their wellbeing. You certainly can't compare such country with Nigeria and its +150M inhabitants.

Again, stop being upset because of the situation of Africa and ask yourself the important question: why ALL the Middle East tiny nations (with oil) are better off than Any overcrowded country in Africa?! Thinking that a "curse" is the reason would be the joke of the day.

Isn't it obvious.... African leaders are greedy and gladly/willingly sold their souls and resources to the white man. Don't be also forgetting the robbery and raping of African resources by these same colonial empires. But let's be clear on something, if Nigeria had only 2.8M citizen ( aka less than half of Lagos population) with the same amount of oil they have ever had, then the country would be as great as these middle eastern countries.

As for anything else that comes out of African soil, the white man has already set his own tarif on it, in order to solely benefit from it.

Because China is a COMMUNIST country, thus no foreign empire has a say in their matter. They solely decide as to how much they will sell their natural resources and to whom, and let us not forget, any looters/corrupt officials in China get the death penalty. Chinese gov is working for China, unlike African leaders working to enrich their own self.
Don't ever compare any African country with mighty China!
