What is meant by, "this is the final status of your package. Courier doesn't provide any additional information" and "expired" on tracking. D item should be about 130 days on transit Nd counting.

Does it mean it might get to me without tracking Info being updated from despatched to overseas?

It's singpost I'm using, nd d stupid post office I used is a little far from where I am now and never calls on arrival of goods.

What do u suggest? Would it get to me without tracking Info update? If it has arrived, since I might not be able to go around d place where d p.o is located till maybe next yr, will d goods remain der till den? I need urgent help guys plz.

There's a likelihood the package is lost or will never get to you. After 130 days, you should have long collected your money back via dispute.

Likely scenario:

1) In the dispute judgement, AE or seller could've agreed to refund less amount which you didn't counter.

2) The amount may be less due to smaller currency exchange rate as at the time the order was made.

3) Village people

If u purchase @ 390 per dollar and at the time of refund, it's already 350 per dollar....such scenario will occur...I hope am right

No 2 isn't possible at all.. Like how can I lose that percentage of money cause of fall in Naira??

it's a minor item so I didn't collect the money. Does it mean the item would never get to me?

I share dis experience only to prevent people who might be migratin looking for next bank dat can help for online transactions, in my case av not done any transaction ooo just register alone. I tank God i was able to call someone in d bank to freeze my account immediately,other complainer 80k before he could realize wats happening,bcus some people dont go tru massages if de r not expecting bank alart.so stay with bank dat can stand 4 u,also with updated online security, u can know dat with some hacking news or just google it.in naija dis is where we re, pray shine ur eye and reason tins.peace.

To be sincere GTB disappointed me. I intentional open this account some yes back bec. of ease of using their master card for online purchase.

It's unlikely you'll get it. Even if it's a dollar, always open dispute. At least give it to the homeless around your area.

Sometimes you may open dispute and seller will agree to pay only some fraction of the money. If you didn't counter this, AE will assume that is what you want and pay you that much. Also losing or gaining money is real when it comes to paying back order; especially considering forex volitility and time (more than 60 days) between order and when you get refunded.

Select a recent order that has shipped to you or an old order that has already been delivered to you

Select "No, I have not received my order"

(For the recent order) Select "What Should I do if I want to cancel the order"

As at the time of the order, Access Bank was charging #400/usd. So the total cost of the phone was #42, 832. At the time of refund, Access Bank naira rate to dollar had jumped to #445. Hence, I got a credit alert of #47,650.60. Based on the above scenario, one can conclude that aliexpress's refund normally comes at the prevailing exchange rate. I'll advice that you find out what your bank's current rate is and then compare it with the rate when you placed the order. I can assure you, that's where the whole issue lies.

I think the only explanation for the reduction is that he got refunded part of the money, and not fully. If that's what the seller consented to, that's what aliexpress will refund.
All Nigerian's bank exchange rate only go up at this period, none of them has its exchange rate go down below the previous rates

But the guy never received the order, therefore, he's entitled to full refund, not part. I've never been partly refunded before for orders I never received.
