Akintola, called for both the State and federal govt to revoke the land lease of Obasanjo Farms in Otta which he claimed can house at least 100 fulani settlers. "What benefit is Otta Farms to us Yorubas", he enquired. According to Ishaq, the Buhari govt should use all means within its power to cut Obasanjo to size as the Yorubas do not recognise him (Obasanjo) as their leader and that only Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains the only bonafide Yoruba leader. MURIC also called on the Federal govt, Northern Nigeria and the entire Muslim world to disregard any statement coming from the Yinka Odumakin Afenifere faction stating further that it is only the Tinubu sponsored faction that represents Yoruba interest.
