To ensure the effective and timely execution of End-of-day and data center operations in the unit



Job Description:



· Execute End of Day / End of Month run

· Daily and adhoc report generation

· Maintain EOD report logs

· Execute daily data center management procedures

· Execute daily/weekly backup and restore procedures

· Keep proper log of backup tapes and offsite tape lodgment and retrieval of tapes.

· Testing of backup tapes regularly.

· Perform other duties as assigned by Head, Treasury Operations.



Qualifications



· OND / HND in Computer Science or any numerate field



Skills/Person Specifications:



The preferred candidate should possess:



Excellent working knowledge with computers
Some form of banking experience
Basic UNIX and Oracle skills
Ability to work overnight
Good interpersonal/customer service skills
Excellent communication and writing skills [/b]
