I don't think he was dead. My thinking is that he wanted to avoid security checks at the airport and he felt like jumping out to land on a remote place from where he will blend with the people on the streets and find his way. Unfortunately, his gamble failed. Rip to the young man.

I know some guy that went to the USA like that. This things happen but this guy was unlucky.

Oga I swear it's not possible except maybe stowed away in the luggage compartment..Landing gear holds are not pressurised at all so apart from the risk of being crushed by the landing gear at take off , once the plane crosses 25 thousand ffeet oxygen supply become virtually scarce , the temperature drops to freezing and the the air pressure drops which will cause any human exposed to it for over 20 mins to loose consciousness and pop blood vessels and freeze to death .

Are U for real? How can he jump out from d plane Lol? Thru d window or he opened d door and jumped? He hid in d landing gear and must have been dead even before dey left Africa.. D landing gear simply opened and his body fell off...

The plane had dropped to that level from 25000 on approach to landing.
The plane was preparing to land and must've opened the landing gear making the body to fall out.

I concur that at higher altitudes, there's low oxygen tension.
But, would doubt the fact that death would come v quickly as a result
