AFTERMATH OF POLICE KILLING, GOVERNOR IHEDIOHA VISITS OBOWO, CALLS FOR PEACE.

The Imo State Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha today paid an assesment visit to the Obowo Police Station to inspect damages caused as a result of the shooting to death a youth in the area by a policeman attached to the Obowo Divisional Police.

The Governor who ordered that the hoodlums be identified stated that,"" We must fish out the hoodlums, while the officer who provoked the incident should be brought to book".
The Governor cautioned that," under no circumstances should a police officer kill the citizen of the community he suppose to protect...you cannot duplicate human life; if you have to gun down somebody, it must be a criminal. At the same time, breaking into police strong room is a criminal offence. The identities of the culprits myst be made available".
The Governor also visited the home of the slained youth and condoled with family.
