Argentina has only De Paul and Peredes in the midfield.... So you expect Messi and other attackers to stay isolated without getting any service from the middle

Since the retirement of Riquelme. Messi has always been playing deep for Argentina...

He was relieved in 2016 tho because of availability of Banega and Biglia. That made him score a lot goals and bag many assists in that Copa...

If there is a reliable midfield, Messi stay up and score any goals...
