Redmi 7 has a superior processor, is more frugal with battery consumption, has better cameras with camera2api enabled out of the box for an even better camera experience with Gcam, is more recent, has a better and smaller notch for a better viewing experience. Lastly, so many persons including myself see stock Android as a con not a pro, so MIUI or Stock Android is subjective.
