The English Premier League is arguably the best football league in the world. Many would disagree though. grin But professional football goes beyond what is done on the field. It is a combination of players' skills, management, organization, marketing, finance and controversy. All of these taken together place the EPL above other football leagues today. What happens tomorrow, no one knows.

Right now the EPL is not in season but preparations have started already. Some big deals are already falling into place. The EPL is set to maintain its standard this coming season. Watch out, folks.

Rodri to Manchester City.

Biggest signing of the 2019/20 EPL season so far.
Man City keeps changing the story of the EPL. grin
Not ready to slow down at all, even after amassing a whopping 198 points in the last two seasons.

Arsenal takes us back to the 90's with their 2019/20 season Away shirt.
Just look at this kit. Cool sleeves, cool neckline, cool redesign, and then adidas went and released one of the coolest promo videos from recent memory to top it off. After several years with Puma, the Gooners have reverted back to their Adidas '90s roots – and we can all agree it was a good decision.

The top 5 last season:
I have a feeling this will change this season. Man U can not remain outside the top 4 two seasons in a row.

Everton in Kenya.

As part of their pre season activities, Everton played against Kariobangi Sharks. Everton lost on penalty shootout. You could hear the sound of jubilation in neighboring Tanzania. grin

Doesn't look like Arsenal wants to do much with this transfer window. It is only getting ready to sign its first major deal of the season. William Saliba from St.Ettiene for £25m...

But as usual someone else is about to hijack the player from Arsenal....grin

Arsenal's record signing, Nicolas Pepe....The EPL go hot die this season. I bet we can finally begin to bet on Arsenal grin

Nicolas Pepe has completed his move to
Arsenal, becoming the club’s record signing in
the process.
The 24-year-old took Ligue 1 by storm last
season, netting 22 times and providing 11
assists
to catch the eye of several top clubs –
but it is the Gunners who won the race for his
signature.
$73m!

Predictions!!!!!
Arsenal might just surprise us this season and win it. The vibe seems right.
At any rate, I expect the top five of the final table to be like this:
1. Manchester City
2.Arsenal
3.Liverpool
4.Tottenham
5.Chelsea
grin grin grin grin grin

Another prediction is that Norwich City would stay in the EPL despite paucity of funds..

What's your own prediction?

Chelsea relying on Tammy to perform wonders...
Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton is full of hope that Tammy Abraham will be given the chance to shine as the club's new No. 9. The 21-year-old looks set to get his chance this season and he has already netted under new manager Frank Lampard in pre-season against Barcelona. With Chelsea unable to bring in a new striker this summer due to their transfer ban, Abraham has been handed the No. 9 shirt, which has often been a burden for previous Blues frontmen in the Premier League era.

Re: English Premier League- Transfers And The 2019/2020 Season by Aderr: 8:09pm On Aug 11, 2019
Anyway, this is what makes Maguire special.. cool

Maguire's England team-mate Rashford may grab
the plaudits with his brace but the Yorkshireman's
authoritative performance underlined why his new
boss wanted him above getting the big name
midfield or striking reinforcements so many United
fans have demanded on social media.
His calmness under pressure helped ensure that
when the home side looked shaky in the first half
they did not add to their concerns with self-inflicted
mistakes.
Maguire was happy to keep it simple in possession
and push the ball on to Paul Pogba when he could,
and had the awareness to spot team-mates in
trouble, something former United boss Jose
Mourinho rather churlishly said on TV might be
frequently needed in the case of Luke Shaw.
