They built the wall for defense purposes, to protect themselves again foreign invasion. That was the original reason and we're talking about BC times- a very long time ago. China also suffered in the hands of foreign invaders just like us in Africa.

the light rail is not coming because the fg is not taking it yet. Lasg is only proposing, they can't build it alone except the fg do join hand or take it up fully.

The earth tremor happened because of rock blasting activities in fct.
What am trying to say is that human activities cause the earth tremor, so it's something that's unlikely to happen naturally.

Well said but it is now the centre of a tourist attraction now... You can't go to China without visiting that place though the first objective was protection but it has turned to a tourist attraction

Right now,the ocean is still very calm.

I still do not know what can stop huge surges from wrecking havoc there....and when u think about what developed nations are going thru with our oceans and seas, u but wonder if this wall can actually withstand the current strength of the waters due to global warming.

Water will always find its way around...so I pray it doesn't lead to major disaster in other parts of the State in d long run.
