I watched them against Senegal and also CIV. They were very, very aggressive and still played sensible football.

Our attackers and midfielders should come prepared for a battle.

As for the Algeria vs Côte d'Voire match, the Ivorians had themselves to blame. They should have buried the Algerians as early as within the first 20 minutes but they kept throwing away clear-cut chances like amateur footballers.

Nigeria must never make this mistake. If only we had at least one clinical finisher. Irrespective of that, we must take our chances and score early.

you sabi ..Algeria has weak deference and has been looking great in front of weak attacks ,Côte d'Voire proved it as they were consistently in their 18yrs box mostly through the right wing.

our concern should be the center backs as the Algerian attacks love attacking through the CB mostly

if we can cut off their the supply from midfield and tighten our defense...clinical finishers will be needed in the box to make all available chances count....

i believe they will look to cage iwobi and stuff ighalo out

so i believe employing the last tactics against soutafrica will work with a little bit of surprise (like a striker they dnt know well to be able to cage he will even switch play with iwobi when caged filling them up with confussion ,then bring in ighalo later).

If Nigeria play as a team, with everyone covering the back of his team mate and LITTLE OR NO MISTAKES at the back, las las we'll be okay. But if they play "excessively selfish" in front of goal or they play like "we are the giants of Africa" or better still they play like "pogba( I'm a big boy/superstar)" then.... Substitute Ighalo when you know he is not having a great game. 60-70 mins is ok for him . Our opponents have studied him well.
Bring in a joker later in the match; bring in ONYEKURU OR OSIMHEN.

[b]I know Eagles will score first but the philosophy of the coach towards the usage of its substitutions is very bad!!! After hard fought of scoring in the first half, the coach always waited for equalizer before it’s first substitution, and I don’t why he let signal to always play 90 minutes football, he should let ighalo to know that he will be playing for 60 minutes after which Osimhen comes in. This coach should make use of his substitution and not come back home unused. Best of luck Eagles, win Algeria win the cup. My humble submission.

If we are leading, then onyekuru will be very useful in the second half in place of ighalo. As the Algerians always play a high line when they are trailing on goals. Thus, pace in attack will be a massive weapon

that Victor oshimen was lethal during the under 17 he played for Nigeria... I hope he has not diminished, that guy should be ahead of onuachu IMO
