Iheanacho never started like this. He only shone in youth stages. Upon his being promoted to the big stage, his performance was never so impressive even from the very beginning and always left much to be desired. A vast majority of the few goals he managed to score were everything but screamers and were practically scrambled for. Probably, because he started from a top club and had to compete with some of the best attackers in the world like crabs in a bucket. There was no way he could have benched Aguero. Or maybe he just wasn't as talented as hyped. Or maybe he was complacent.

This Chukwueze dude on the other hand got it right in all areas. He went to a club with fewer stars and has dribbled his way into limelight. He is hungry for glory. He wants to be known. And with the way he is going he would be known. Watch him against top clubs like Madrid and Barca and you will suss out we have a star in our hands.

I can't remember iheanacho winning a man of the match award at the senior stage. Chukwueze won it in his second Appearance as a starter.

We are blessed with good and young winger's. Chukwueze, Simon Moses, Onyekuru, Samuel kalu, musa. These players can terrorize any team in the world, even Algeria or Ivory coast can't withstand these group of assassins.

If you cage our main striker just like south African coach thought and plan, then you are inviting trouble to your team, because all passes will be directed to all these unrepentant assassins and you know your defenders are at their mercy.


Don't forget Iwobi. He's been very dangerous in this tournament.

Is it not this Samuel chukwueze when he was in Biochem
200L in Michael okpara uni of agric umudike,he packed 6carry overs,gp 1.0....all the lecturers, students
especially the babes were making jest of him.None of them
agreed to date or befriend him....

He's very good. However, he finds it hard to pass the ball to free players after dribbling through and he takes certain shots that go way over the bar too many a time. With more polishing, he's gonna be a wonder to behold. Well deserved award.

With time he'll get better if he works hard...he's young, there's definitely still room for improvement.

My Man of the match was Iwobi. He was deadly all through the game. I've never seen him play with such energy.

I pray Ighalo can be benched for Osimhen in the next match....forget the hype of being in 3goals,that guy scores majorly tap-ins which any quality striker scores.But he lacks several qualities to be technical and clinical,he just has d strength alone,no pace,no work rate, sometimes shows no sense of positioning,just look @d two passes Chukwueze worked for him tonight to bury the game,even all Musa's run ,he will always be found wanting..only d replays shows where he always stays behind stretching his hands...I think at this stage now we need to posses a striker with killer instinct not score-today-flop-the next game-kind
