That MyMTNapp is buggy as Bleep, the only good thing it possesses is a minor price slash for the most desirable data plan.
I still love MTN, though, I can’t imagine how my life would have gone if I didn’t have the internet in my hands ie phone data bundles.

MTN aren't the only people offering internet services.

9mobile ate good. Glo phone calls are good.

Glo has always been horrible for me when it comes to internet speeds. Where are you where you get to enjoy fast glo?

bought a month Subscription it only lasted for 2 weeks
am now suspecting that am sharing my Data with one of their staff

Voice, I agree, but data, nope. I used to believe that until I switched to Airtel 4G. Airtel is the best in terms of data services. I would have given it to Glo 4G, but due to the fact that just a few phones support their 4G band but it's cool.

Both emptyhen and hairtel(then econet) came in at the same time.
Econet was the first even if na with a month...

Number was assigned according to how they were given license to operate, the first mobile call in Nigeria was with econet..

1 Econet 0802

2 MTN 0803

3 Ntel 0804

4 Glo 0805

5 Etisalat 0809 was using cus mtn used 0806,Glo used 0807 and Econet used 0808...

MTN is still the best in terms of speed and network availability, however I recently noticed that data finishes much faster than before. They want people's data to finish fast and they purchase another data plan even before month end. Hope they are not using Nigerians to recover the money they paid as fine to the government. All the same, I still prefer MTN to other networks.
