See what carelessness has done to a family,like someone said their.....if only we had constant power supply their will be no need for generators, during the first tenure campaigns of this present administration I could remember spotting a billboard of pres. Buhari and osibanjo that says vote for us for power supply 24/7 that's change but till today the power situation is nothing to write about......I therefore blame Buhari for this incident. A family of seven completely wiped out this morning by generator fumes in Elele, Ikwerre local government of Rivers State.

This was said by one of their neighbors who was at the scene of the incident. Though their body has been evacuated by Elele Division police.

Your no2 refers, you cant be so sure bro.

Most communities in Rivers State implement an advisory that all generators must go off latest 12 midnight to allow for people to sleep well and also for security reasons but some will not e.g the Yahoo Yahoo boys and some others.

This is very sad.

I trust my Landlord, 11pm switch off gen till dawn.

Why should tax paying people be using generators in the first place. That's where you should start querying. Those things are emergency back up devices in cases of emergencies when power is down. Even in oyinbo land the people U see using these things are those in the bush who are far from civilization or people who havent paid their bills

once it is 12 pm . it is advisable to put off generators because it becomes more toxic in the middle of the night
