1. Continuous efforts must be made to update your knowledge bank. Yesterday's information is stale. Algeria's coach is no doubt more tactically sound that Rohr

2. Its good to forecast future occurrence base on past achievements however, adequate preparations and focus is essential and Paramount for today's success. We have beaten them more times is immaterial

3. Always know your area of strength. Endeavor to sharpen and master them if you want to remain relevant in the scheme of things... It's no doubt that Algerian did everything possible to avoid extra time because they don't have much strength to run through it.

4. Battle field is not a place to test-run your artillery, ammunition or weaponry. Efficacy and Efficiency of fire power should be known prior battle time.

5. Stiff game of football is usually won on the technical or tactical area and not necessarily on the field of play as typified by Algerian coach barking out instructions though yesterday's game..

6. Decision making is the primary function of management but a wrong and uninformed decision will stimulate call for the manager's head. Wrong decision to substitute Chukwueze gave the Algerians the impetus to attack us which cost us the match.

7. Personal interest of team members should not overrule or overrride team interest. Ighalo no doubts is eying the golden shoe, would he pass the ball to a free man to score??

8. As a manager, you u don't want a favorite player. That comes with much problems than solutions.

9. In life, you lose some and you win some... However, Don't lose any if you can win all.

10. The most important of all lessons,
"it's never over until it is over"..
Don't be carried away as every seconds counts.

We just lack the basic knowledge.
Errors that lead to the second goal.
1. The attempted clearance should be to the flanks and not back to open play
2. The wall left too much gap to the left of the free kick taker
3. The keeper is a scam on Nigerians. No ball sense.

Again, I feel someone has a cut from the salary of that mediocre coach.
Why remove chukwueze (who was a treat that kept their defence from supporting attack) for an untested player?
The players seem unsettled throughout the match.
Just a bad day for the country.
