Your guilty conscience will still kill you... You can not stop somebody from taking what you yourself is taking. What is your business with ex governors regarding state money? Are you not paying their benefits? You don't sound like an elite. I doubt you are the one talking or maybe you are driving by a second or third party to miscalculate. Grow up

Has the Oshi-omo-Ole reported to the court with EFCC yet?

Oracleofinfo:
The Federal High Court, Abuja, yesterday, ordered that court processes be served on the former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomole, over alleged financial fraud while in office.

Justice Anwuli Chikere, gave the order while ruling on the exparte application brought before the court by Bishop Osadolor Ochei.
The application is seeking an order of mandamus to compel Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), to arrest and commence criminal proceedings against Oshiomole for allegedly diverting state funds into personal use.

Justice Chikere, while ordering that the EFCC be served also with the same court process, stressed that the service be done within five days from October 9, when the order was made.

The ex-parte, with suit No FHC/ABJ/CS/628/ 2018, and filed by
Dr.West Idahosa on behalf of the plaintiff has Oshiomole and EFCC as 1st and 2nd respondents

Lucky Igbinedion and Oshiomhole take note!

He's not at loggerheads with lucky but oshiomole.

Infact he visits lucky whenever the erstwhile governor is in town.

GOVERNOR Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has said leaders must be prudent and disciplined in the way they handle state treasury while in office.

According to Obaseki, leaders who have been saddled with the responsibility of leadership, especially at the state level must have it in mind that the money at his disposal must be used for the development of the state and not for personal aggrandizement.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja when he paid a condolence visit to the home of a former military governor of defunct Bendel State, Vice Admiral Husaini Abdullahi (retd) over his death, Obaseki described the late Milad as a leader who was disciplined and understood the fact that the money he had access to while he was in charge was for the state and not for individuals.

Obaseki said, “This visit is a solemn event. We came here to pay homage to a great Nigerian statesman. These are people who served this country who meant well for this country. They had all the opportunities to make all the money. When they served it was not the spirit to acquire for themselves otherwise he would have bought the whole streets of the state.

“But these were people who understood what public service meant, people who sacrificed for this country. People who had access to state treasury but they had a discipline that money for the state was meant to develop the people and not individuals.

"He should be emulated and that’s why I had taken time out to come and pay homage to him and commiserate with the family and to say that we are proud of their father and the work he did and to advise and encourage them to sustain his legacies.

“He was governor during the turbulent times in Nigeria. Even though he was a military governor, he was able to win the heart and soul of Bendelites at that time. He sustained some of the policies he met on ground. If you come to Edo today, there are so many buildings and infrastructure he commissioned while he was governor.

In terms of physical environment and governance, he contributed immensely to the development of the old Bendel State. “Definitely, we are going to name a monument after him. I’m already consulting with my colleague in Delta and when we make the decision, we will let you know.”

Circular firing squad ; It was all back slapping and photo op laughing when Oshiomole was governor and Obaseki his "chief economic adviser".
Was it not Obaseki who applauded the amendment of the 2007 Pension rights of the Governor and Deputy Governor Law to provide an outrageously generous pension, for a former Labour leader no less (nonirony there).
To include N200m p.a as a housing grant at a location of their choice, free medical treatment for the Governor and immediate family members anywhere in the world, 3 cars to be replaced at the expense of the people of Edo, every 5 yrs and a lifetime pension equivalent to the governor's last paycheck.
But Obaseki is now claiming the "high" road on a mangy horse declaring that the state's monies are for "development". Osho and Oba deserve each other, both drowning whilst tied together with concrete shoes.
The poor people of Edo do not deserve these reprobates.

Fat Ambode should learn how to be a man like this. Not just fighting only people like that pastor, who he knows he can fight.

Even if obaseki loses tomorrow, he lost like a man. No newspaper article will claim he was kicked out by anyone. Unlike Ambode who will always be said to be kicked out by Tinubu.

This simply means Nigeria was better with military dictatorship than the current trend of democracy and greedy selfish politicians we have today. This a serious indictment for the politicians of today!
