countries in Africa are calculated using the Human Development Index ( HDI).
The organization publishes, on an annual basis, indices and data used to rate countries based on life expectancy, health, economic development, living standards, and education.


The top 10 most developed countries accross Africa
are based on the human development index below.


1. SEYCHELLES

With approximately 95,500 people as of 2018,
Seychelles is the most developed country in Africa.
Through tourism, Seychelles drives much of its economic growth.

Seychelles ranks at 62,2 worldwide.

It has a life expectancy of around 76.1 years, an average of 5.5 years compared to 12.4 years predicted in school, and a per capita GNI of 7,340.
