Akon is getting old but he has paid his dues, he's been here for a while now. I've always respected him but the respect increased when i read his interview where he said he spent 1billion dollar for his Akon light up Africa project where he is providing electricity to hinterlands across Africa. In his word "for him its not about being frenzy anymore, diamond sturd, massive gold necklace and all that. He said he was moved to tears when he visited villages in Africa and saw how people were living hence his change of mind to use his resources for humanity. God bless Akon with long life and more money.
