A1 in mathematics? What were you doing in art class? Only a few people can be good in science and arts at the same time. I suggest you stick to science since you are good at it. But the course you can do, can't say. I wish you sat for Physics or Chemistry. But whatever you opt for, pls, let it be science related

Isn't it obvious the owner of the result didn't sit for the exam??

All this advice when we know the truth.

First of all, you are the owner of the result.

And again you can still study Economics with this course in schools like Unilag..

Requirements are: Eng maths econs and any other 2 subjects.( That's if it's not changed yet).

Government or geography is usually required.

Most schools do not accept Civic Education as a replacement. Students sit for the paper To fulfill all righteousness.

No school would accept a student without Literature for mass communication.

1. Maths
2. English
3. Econs
4. Civic
5. Islamic Studied

You can study mass communication. Most schools would also accept you for social science courses like accounting, bar, et al.

You can confirm from the admission office of your preferred school before choosing them.
accounting is not under social science its under management courses, bus, marketing e.t.c

Why would an art student fail Government and pass math? All these quack miracle centers sef.
Quack Miracle centre, he should gave gone to specialists rigth?...LMFAO

Its sad really. Sometime ago, I was asked by a woman to tutor her daughter in SS1 on general mathematics. It wasn't a problem since it was my area of expertise. I was happy to share the knowledge that has been lying untapped in the archives. The kid showed some zeal even though I made it clear to her that she was far off what she was expected to know. I tried to motivate her to learn.

Going through her Mathematics and Chemistry classnotes, I saw huge gaps in knowledge of the class teacher. Apparently, he who was paid to teach did not have good grasp of the subject area. Unqualified secondary school teacher.

Few months later, kid was promoted to SS2 with the best result since JSS 1. Her mother wanted her to take the SSCE in SS2. She enrolled her daughter despite my suggestion that the kid was not ripe for the challenge. I was oblivious of the fact that part of the enrollment fee was to sort out the 'MIRACLE'. Kid lost focus knowing that mom had sorted out her exams. Tried all I could but she refused to continue the tutorials and the mother showed little concern.

Throughout the time I thought her she had no textbook whatsoever. We revised the classwork and I had to generate questions my self for pronmblem solving. Meanwhile, it was not because of paucity of funds but sheer lack of commitment to education of the child.

A prescedent has been set. Tomorrow, children like this who were not thought the value of hardwork will resort to sorting lecturers for grades. It is heart wrecking, totally unacceptable. The Brain in youths is mind buggling. We must start getting educated, not just attending schools...MIRACLE CENTRE MUST GO

Sorry, you are wrong. He wrote the Exam in a Public Secondary school. Any Contribution now?

If none, Thank you

Dear NLers,

Kindly advise on the course(s) a student can apply for at the tertiary Level with the WAEC result attached.

BOOK KEEPING: D7
ECONOMICS: C6
GOVERNMENT: F9
ISLAMIC STUDIES: C6
LIT IN ENGLISH. : E8
CIVIC EDUCATION: B3
ENGLISH LANGUAGE: B3
YORUBA LANGUAGE : C5
GENERAL MATHEMATICS: A1

Your Contributions will be much appreciated.

N.B The student wish to read Law but that is out of the case with this result

I am very very sorry o but from your result u can deduce you didn't write it yourself or they gave you guys chokes. I don't mean to call you out or bash you but there are areas of inconsistencies English and literature, civic and government, mathematics and bookkeeping.

Anyways as for your question your combination doesn't help your desire for that course. Then results in literature and government may not work. My advice rewrite. Or wait for NECO

The result is useless, he should sit for another exam.

Pls, tell him/her to exclude those useless subjects(civic and book keeping) when registering for another exam.

What were you hoping to study initially, for the selection of these subjects?

But you can scale through Economics or any other social sciences
