The Block Rosary Crusade Council, Catholic Archdiocese of Owerri has commenced a 21 days Novena prayer for the success of the National Congress of the Block Rosary Nigeria scheduled for August 22 – 24, 2019 in Ilorin, the State capital of Kwara State.

In a statement issued the media person to the group, Bro. Michael Eboh disclosed to The Leader that the prayer session in timely sequel to the turbulent time the country is facing presently.

He disclosed further that the prayer will not only see to the success of the congress, but will bring a sporadic positive influence in the lives of Christians and the welfare of the Church, the communities and the country at large.

The Novena prayer which begins today will pray for Nigeria and other good private intentions of those who wish to join them in prayers.

The 21 days Novena prayers are to be observed by their members as a way of fulfilling the motto of the Block Rosary which is “Prayer, Penance and Sacrifice” gearing towards the success of the 2019 National Congress in Ilorin and the good of all mankind.

The council through its media team equally plead for support to aid them in their mission during the congress prayer session.
