So you cannot come up with one scriptures that support your doctrine "God will never leave me, no matter what I do". Then shut up

It is obvious that we don’t view Christianity the same way. To you, it is a set of rules that if one deviates from the person stops being a Christian. For me, it is a relationship between a father and his child. In every real relationship, there’s free will. But a Christian does what will please his father out of love and not compulsion. David had a relationship with God, that is why though he sinned terribly, he did not loose the relationship. There were repercussions, but he did not become demonized.

And how can a relationship hold when there are no set rules. What is the first commandment, Love the Lord, your God.
Jesus explains further "If you love me keep my commandment/rules"

"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments/rules " 1 John 5:2

"And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments/rules." 1 John 2:3

I laugh in parables at your doctrines. Remember Matthew 7:21-23 Read it over and over again.

Also for your info, David was punished for his sins. He didn't lose the relationship because he humbled himself and returned to obeying the commandments of God. Unlike King ASA who was rebuked for his sins and became rebellious. He lost his relationship with God.

But atleast can you now agree that relationship/love with God is equal to keeping his commandments/rules?
