Policemen deployed to National Stadium Surulere Lagos State has dispersed RevolutionNow protesters with tear gas.

A FoxMeek correspondent who was at the scene on Monday morning reports that security personnel positioned to the Stadium fired tear gas at protesters.

Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, had called on Nigerians to come out for what he tagged #RevolutionNow protest against the government.

Mr Sowore was, however, arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) on Saturday.

Justifying Sowore’s arrest, the DSS said his action is a threat to public safety, peaceful co-existence and social harmony in the country.

No be naija again?

It's only in Buhari's government that the word 'revolution' has just one meaning...terrorism.

You may even see police using live bullets on harmless Nigerians there.

Let them go and put their lives for someone's political ambition nah. Pity those Nigerians that will put their lives on line for someone's political ambition. What I know in this country is protest or no protest the Government will do what they want and the only thing the protesters can do is waste their lives for someone who cannot even keep his own wicked uncle on protesting front.

LEARNED HELPLESSNESS;

The psychological condition were we stop fighting/trying because it has proven to be ineffective to changing our condition.

As a result we settle for whatever we get.

I can categorically state this as a fact... Nigeria will never change.. No be curse.. Na fact

Believe me, this government is the most effective government we ever had.

They have a commendable reputation in quelling secession, they have reputation in quelling religious protests, and now they are achieving a new feat in quelling revolutionary uprising.

I give it up to them!!

Are we in democratic setting?

Where's the right to non-violent protests?

Buhari....Buhari....Buhari....

How come Nigerians voted for this tyrant? Election was rigged, in forgot. I hope the international community are watching.

Go and tear gas ISWAP terrorists in the North East now. Foolish set of people!

Most developed nations don't watch their government making policies that are against them. They don't keep quiet like us. And if you have someone trying to rise and face the government here, some will have a flimsy reason not to support him. The insecurity and RUGA issues only are enough to face this government
