Please what is the essence of the protest during Good luck Jonathan's regime?
Are the protesters seeking the change of government or revolution?
Is the 2012 protest a peaceful one or unpeaceful one?
If it was you on power can you allowed some minority to overthrow you
Sowore is surely and clearly in severe pain........................

Ask me why he's in pain

This is what PDP need to do, organise a protest, with ex generals and top men leading the protest, am not sure this administration will have the balls to lock them as they did Sowore.

That doesn't mean you should derail from the original intent of the thread...your reply is filled emotional downpour and laced with conditioned and programed hate.
Hate against who exactly?... Of course I feel disgusted that some folks here cant outgrow the election result of 2015 which makes them continually reason irrationally. Out of 200 million Nigerians, why must you keep picking on a select few people who protested bad governance in 2012/2014 and expecting them to lead every protest in Nigeria? DO you pay them for it? or are the remaining 200 million Nigerians crippled.

Let me rephrase, why hasn't those you see in that picture show up in protests during this government lack of direction? Don't you think they have suddenly lost their voice or is it the fear of the tyran in Aso rock?
People do get tired of complaining and protesting over the same thing over and over... call it fear, call it whatever you want to call it, but after a person has been complaining and protesting over and over again, they get tired when things keep getting worse, and most especially when the only thing the people they are protesting for know how to do is sit behind computers to criticise and throw insults (simple because the critic once criticised their 'hero' who wasn't even a good leader by the way).

When old veterans get tired, that's the time for younger ones to pick up. What sense does it make for youths to sit behind computers expecting an octogenarian like Soyinka for example to still be leading protests in 2019? ...and then insulting him for not doing so?
Re: The Faces Of Notable Nigerians That Protested Against GEJ (Throwback Photos) by GoldHorse(m): 5:30pm On Aug 06, 2019
Thank God you said "Protested" and not calling for Revolution. Protesting is very legal. Revolution is not. This does not mean you can't call for revolution but you should be ready to face the consequences.

EVEN presently in France and Hong Kong people are protesting and are still being beaten and arrested.

.... No government will stand by and watch people protest uncontrollably talk less of planning a RevolutionNow

Any business or community that you find an Igbo man saying he does not see as profitable you better believe him for your own good.
We may dislike Igbos for being lousy sometimes but they know profitable ventures when they see one and Buhari is not one of them.

You and others lousiness is twice that of Igbos..

Your only dislike for Igbos is borne out of envy and bad-belle..nothing else..

However it is good you admitted to being clueless, listen to Igbos when we speak and your life will be better for it..
A word is enough for the wise.

Nigeria was the third fastest growing economy on the world alongside Qatar and one other country.
There were a lot of wonderful articles of Nigerian being the next emerging giant. We don't see those articles anymore.

The automobile sector was opening up due to the tariff increase on imports, akinwummi adeshina was doing his thing in the agricultural sector, NOI and aganga were coordinating investors.

Now, Nigeria is the country with the slowest growth rate in west Africa.

RUGA is dead and buried.
No news at all grin
RUGA will transform in another name and as usual there it nothing those that protested against Jonathan can do about it. Would fear let them? They should all bury their faces in shame, with due respect to the old ones. Baba Zahra will deal with them all. It is only we the poor masses who does not have a say that baba Zahra is punishing after we voted for him. Does he really care about us? No.

The level of hatred that Yorubas poured on Jonathan, a fellow southerner or so I thought at that time really shocked me.

It had everything to do with how much they despised igbos and hated Jonathan’s close relationship with igbos.

Jonathan administration opened my eyes on what people have been saying about Nigeria. Especially about certain groups.

Jonathan still have the highest vote Yoruba have ever given to any president in Nigerian history (2011 election) the same Yoruba who came out to protest when yaradwa die. But after he became president how did he pay us back, not even a political appointment to Yoruba until 6mount to another election

oga we didn't owe Jonathan any apology instead he owed us an apology if GEJ governed this nation well this calamity won't befall us, this old fool called Buhari won't even have any chance to enter Aso Rock, Buhari hands up in 2011 immediately he lost the third election but GEJ brought him back through his failure, almost everybody in Nigeria had tired of corruption under his watch except people who believe in ethnicity still believe Jonathan performed, but talking about good man and nice man give it to Jonathan but he failed in governance, my opinion though

Those Igbo with monkey ancestry will never believed you.because they did not have capacity to think like human

you know Hausa's well, some of them are liberal and they are willing to help anybody,

The average Hausa is a good man. There is an impressive level of good morals in the north owing to the depth of the Islam practised there, although it is also responsible for them not catching up with modernity unlike others who practise liberal Islam.

The bad elements among the Hausa's come from the Almajiri. A child who has been abandoned by his family to be responsible for himself will only become a criminal and a problem to the society when he grows up.

The FULANI is a barbarian still in the dark ages, knows nothing about the sanctity of human life and virtually cannot coexist with a different kind of people.

Some people truly have short memory, some of those men protested against yar'adua's cabal, the likes of wole soyinka and femi Falana were on the street protesting in favour of Jonathan, even Jonathan himself said he first saw news about yar'aduas death on sowore:s Sahara reporters, these people fought for Jonathan but after getting the power , he messed up everything.

Looking at some of the faces that graced this thread, it is safe to say that Nigeria is fundamentally a basket of fools. Nigerians might been given Ph.D., Nobel Crap and professorship yet they are minnows in the house of thought.
