THE THREE STEPS TO LIFE

In life, one needs to capture, conquer and
consolidate to get success; otherwise one will be cremated. These three are necessary steps in life to achieve success.
Have you ever imagined losing what you thought you had captured? Imagine the girl you thought that you had under wraps leaving you to marry another man! One of the three steps was missing.

Let me give a very vivid example in our polity. Those who still have memories of Major Gideon Gwaza Orkar (October 4, 1952 - July 27, 1990) will remember that he was a Nigerian Military officer who staged a violent coup against the government of General Ibrahim Babangida on April 22, 1990.

Administration,you would recall the celebrations that greeted the country after the coup plotters went on air to announce their plots.

Majority of Nigerians thought that Gideon had succeeded in capturing the existing regime, temporarily, at least. While many people were waiting for further development, lo and behold, the coup was countered and crushed. Orkar and his men failed. They failed to conquer.

They could not conquer. In their failure to conquer: many of them paid dearly for it.

The mass executions that followed, is the real meaning of “cremation”, hence the title of the book: Learn the conquerors' mind or get cremated or punished.
