I thought as much... Promotion might just be what is holding them from releasing the list.

If they don't promote, there wouldn't be vacancies to fill.

Promotion is not what's delaying your NSCDC list. Not CGC appointment or that the NSCDC is "slow".

Since some members of the Senate said they do not like CBT for their people, you should expect such delay.
Interests in the list has increased, politics and various clashes may be ongoing.

The release is near, they just want chuk hand into the list very well before sending it out.

before the new C.G assumed office all recruitment slots (mostly senior cadre) had already been shared by the former C.G (gana) the new C.G tried to altered the recruitment list but he couldn't because gana has already shared slots among the elites to ensure he gets extension which he didn't get at the end of the day. Secondly their was a lot of irregularities when it comes promotion so the New C.G is trying to clean the house and open up vacant space, but already every other thing concerning the recruitment has been concluded we should all exercise little patience i am positive by God grace after all this promotion palava the list will be out soon maybe before this month runs out.

Why should new CG alter the list? Assuming he has his way, he would have altered in and fill most of the vacant posts with his own people too. So no one among them is fighting for the common people's interests but theirs. The new CG should have released the list like that and wait for his own turn to conduct another recruitment

Don't mind all these people, he has no reason not releasing the list same time with Immigration list. The new officers won't stop whatever he's doing as they will have to do screening and stay for a while before the successful ones will finally be called to camp.

Is the CG in charge of recruitment or the cdfipb board, him being the cg does nt give him that power, he can only be allocated a limited number of slot, ..he can only influence, ...he cannot even be the cg without the recommendation of this board, this how powerful the board is.

Let's pray this delay is for good, just maybe they re trying to increase the total number from 5000 to say 7000 that's why they're trying to free up space, cause we all know the official stipulated amount to be recruited was at 10,000, just maybe,

That's is when some of the shortlisted candidates among 5000 shortlisted for screening have not showed up, the remaining space makes up the supplementary list also within that window slots are been sold again but they can never exceed that 5000 because of budgetary complications
