Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by maternal: 12:20pm On Aug 14
Which country do you live in ? My friend other than the amazing social benefits most western European countries offer, Europe is trash. Everyone knows it. A foreign language other than the U.K., small roads, small houses, etc. The world revolves around North America and its culture. We all know it deep down.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Nig4Greatness: 12:31pm On Aug 14
Without emotional sentiments, please can you defend this claim??.then we can have a discussion.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by willy2000(m): 12:44pm On Aug 14
maternal:So Europe is trash because it has small roads, small houses, And you almighty USA, where you can be killed by anyone including the police, killed by a drunken driver,be homeless overnight, is a treasure. Kwantinue.
Saying the world revolves around North America shows how myopic and biased you are.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Nig4Greatness: 12:46pm On Aug 14
Beautyaddy:.@bolded,please can you define what democracy is all about??.
Electoral college doesn't fit into the definition of democracy where minority opinion rules.the Republican have always been the beneficiary of the EC if not they would have done away with it.
Besides, only Congressional elections are held every 2years while others are 4 and 6 years respectively.a lot of fortunes could have been affected either way within these periods.
Also there's nothing like checks and balances anywhere, the presidential election is the most important election in a democratic setting.

Do you have bad roads in the USA, YES or NO?
Do people drive faulty/accidented cars with broken headlights/rearlights, YES or NO?
Do people live in houses without heating YES or NO ?
How secure you do feel walking at Night, irrespective of the location.
Do you have a no go Neighbourhood, YES or NO ?
We can start our discussion with the afromentioned questions without emotional sentiments. I am comparing the USA with german speaking european countries.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Nig4Greatness: 12:53pm On Aug 14
To those of you creating threads everywhere comparing the US with Europe and other countries, why are you so bothered about the 'underdevelopment' ,racism and gun violence going on there?.isn't it better you remain in your paradise and stop worrying about the ongoing in the US??.
This irrelevant comparison is sickening.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by willy2000(m): 12:57pm On Aug 14
It is sickening, yet you are commenting on the thread, what happened to you NEXT button. #yimu

Am waiting for the poster to respond to this post but since you are eager to jump in the fray,be my guest.
First can you answer those questions in relation to Germany you mentioned?.
Let's start there as well.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Nig4Greatness: 1:00pm On Aug 14
Somebody needs to put you haters in your place.the question is still begging for answers??.who wants you in the US??
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by willy2000(m): 1:06pm On Aug 14
Which language do you speak/understand? I said German speaking countries and not Germany, I hope you know, that there are other european countries with German as official Language.
I will indulge you by answering
Accidented Cars = NO
No heating= NO
security = YES
Your turn, don't dissappoint me with a nigerian answer.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Nig4Greatness: 1:26pm On Aug 14
When I mean discussion,I mean an intelligent discussion and not these lines..even your chancellor cannot comfortably give same answers as you.
So if you like rhetorics,I will give you in abundance.so my answers are same as yours.
Should I even assume you live in Europe or you just typing based on your research, from media or from people talking points?.

So none of these things happens in the continent of Europe
I guess the continent of Europe is the new Holy Land.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by optimusprime2(m): 2:10pm On Aug 14
When the OP said "Europe", I am asking where in Europe??
Because different parts of Europe have their own aspects that can or can't be compared to the US.
For instance, Spain is a country in Europe as is Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech republic and Italy but I can never compare them with the U.S. because they don't come anywhere near the US on various levels.
However countries like Norway, Denmark, Switzerland and Sweden have their own advantages when compared to the US but also huge disadvantages as well.
Germany, France, Netherlands and Austria ... all these countries have their own perks, but putting up with a country as massive as the US doesn't make any sense at all, because what applies in some states in the US are different from others I.e Hawaii is an American state, but has regulated gun laws-concealed carry permits are not recognized.
So errrh. Europe is Unique but comparing it to US in terms of country singularity doesn't make any sense at all.

Just as expected. Trying to sound intelligent right, but just like Raheel said, hundreds of wise men cannot make the world a heaven, but one i***t is enough to turn it into a hell. Like I said use your NEXT button, if you do not like a post.

Lol..I thought you were equal to the task..just noise everywhere.do you really know your Germany, the powerhouse of Europe is not even up to one state in US in terms of landmass and other resources??.
Like I said,if you have any intelligent viewpoints, bring it on and let's talk about it and not just these hatred filled baseless rhetorics from the bosom of losers who have tried but failed to get in.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by maternal: 4:32pm On Aug 14
Yes. Nobody works hard to drive a small car, on small roads, to go to their small house. I wan chop life. Europe is absolutely trash. I also don't live in the U.S
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by PaulSimon2020: 4:36am On Aug 15
maternal:That's so funny , but to be honest, Europe is a lot more safer and saner than US but of course you make more money in US.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by DexterousOne(m): 11:11am On Aug 15
Just so you know
More Eurooeans move to America
Then Americans to Europe (I mean Canada and the U.S. in this context )
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by justwise(m): 12:57pm On Aug 15
Where is your source?
How about Americans denouncing their citizenship because of double taxation?
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by DexterousOne(m): 1:04pm On Aug 15
justwise:The number of American citizens who denounce due to FATCA are less than 2000 per year
The stats are there
And it's lack of understanding of FATCA that make people do that
I am an accountant, so I know the way around it
Offsetting the tax against taxes in your country of residence will make you pay nil taxes to US most times
Or something negligible (like if the tax rate where you live is less than the taxes in the USA )
I don t see FATCA as mych issue
You just need to know your way
America has 51m + foreign born residents
That should tell you something
And I have also seen the stats of more Europeans moving and over staying in America
Than Americans in the entire European continent
Too lazy to fivd the links and post here
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by justwise(m): 1:05pm On Aug 15
What is democracy then? America preaches democracy around the world but hardly practices one.
European countries do call snap elections far quicker than America does typical example is the UK.
I can’t live in America, stupid gun law, no value for human life, no free health care then to make matters worse you have trump
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by justwise(m): 1:09pm On Aug 15
Take your time and find that link.
You know better and have more resources than current UK prime minister? He denounced his American citizenship.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by DexterousOne(m): 1:12pm On Aug 15
Of course he had to
Ted Cruz denounced his Canadian citizenship too
If you aim to lead a country
Having multiple citizenship is not the best
So Ted Cruz and Boris Johnson did the needful
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Beautyaddy: 2:25pm On Aug 15
Not everyone will want and can live in the US...just as not everyone will want and can live in the UK.
As the saying goes "one man's meat is another man's poison"
No Country on Earth practices "free HealthCare" someone or something is paying very heavy for it either through taxes(indirect payment) or through out of pocket( direct payment of insurance). Any healthcare that is free(without it being funded for) needs serious questioning because it must be that most people getting such healthcare is being provided the bare minimum level of care.
Now about the gun laws in the US...admit it has been experiencing some very weak loop-holes that bad and crazy people are using to cause serious harm to innocent people. It can't and will not remain that way forever...I am very optimistic about that. The sane and caring Americans( which runs in millions) value human lives to the max...however the sick and angry Americans care less about human lives...or even their own lives that's why in most cases you see them get killed by themselves or by law officers .
Now Trump at most can ONLY be President of the US for 8 years...and his chances of getting elected for another 4 years seems to be getting thinner by the day.
The US will be very Alright. No Country can do without the US even with all its flaws.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by polirutgfrk(m): 2:42pm On Aug 15
it's better to live at home. it is always better there where we are not. without connections and a stock of money is very difficult. of course, Africa is not the best place for education and opportunities. many go to the "best" region. I don't know how right it is...
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by Nig4Greatness: 3:43pm On Aug 15
This I can't live in America has to stop,it's becoming very stale.no country begs other citizens to come live in their country and the US definitely is one of such.
About gun violence, why crying more than the bereaved??.the citizens right to firearms is as same as right to life.its in their constitution.let UK and other European countries have same in their constitution and see the effect.the law enforcements are doing absolutely their best to curtail the fallouts because in every 12,there must be a Judas.
About healthcare again,is there any prove to show those with free health care have access to better care than those who pays for it?.As I said,to each its own.
Trump will not be president forever and if you are a doing it right citizen, you won't be bothered about what trump represents.
Re: Is It Better To Live In Europe Than In The US? by justwise(m): 4:05pm On Aug 15
What are you on about, that’s my opinion and you can only take it or leave it but you can’t tell me to stop saying it.
I can’t live in gun crazy America, why do you have problem with that?
