Go and check their voting pattern. E go shock you. You must think the south south are inbred fools. They are not bitter of course. They don't support greed. 7 Likes 1 Share |

Me I'm from the south south, western Niger Delta. My dad is delta and mom from Edo state, if PDP present a northern candidate in 2023, they will win south south States with over 80%. So the best bet for southern unity is to provide Igbo man. If not then hausa for another 8 years 4 Likes |

So many funny People on Nairaland. Are the SS ,SW and North Political parties? For instance, how can you tell the millions of voters in the SW, SS or Middle Belt to vote for a particular candidate because their regions are to support that candidate? Won't APC, PDP and others campaign in these regions and get parts of the votes? mrvitalis: 2 Likes |
Re: Northern President In 2023? by oyatz(m): 11:52am On Aug 10, 2019 |
This is mere wishful thinking bro. For now, only APC and PDP have the organizational network, Political structure across Nigeria and the financial power to win a Presidential election. YOU are not in control of any of these parties sir and the heavy-duty politicians in these two parties are there firstly for their self interests and not necessarily for tribal reasons. Political parties and NOT regions contest elections. Why is it very difficult for you people to understand this simple fact. In the S/West for instance, APC, PDP, AAC, Labour party,SDP have their members and supporters. They all had votes in the Region during elections. An Igbo candidate that's Politically formidable can win the Presidential ticket of APC or PDP if he is able to negotiate with the power brokers in his party. There is no two ways about it. krendo: |

What do you mean by the 'EAST'? Although, the party has formidable presence in the S/East but Gov Wike,Gov Udom, Atiku and Gov Tambuwal now control the engine room of the PDP. TSRC: |
Re: Northern President In 2023? by TSRC: 1:54pm On Aug 10, 2019 |
oyatz:They all answer at the behest of the East. The East made atiku win the primaries against the wish of wike, tambuwal, and others. Anybody the east supports wins. We don't need to do like tinubu to know who controls the PDP. The leader of the PDP in the Senate was Igbo under saraki. It is still Igbo under lawan. 2 Likes |

TSRC: Look, don't play dumb dude. The APC is the ruling Party. With good leadership over the next four years, and with all things coming together well, then the 2023 Presidency is in the bag for the APC. As Yorubas have worked hard to build the APC and shown loyalty to the Party, you think the leaders will sanction the ticket being handed over to the SE who have shown nothing but raw hate for the APC? Dream on. Helinue is talking sense based on the reality of Nigeria and you, typical of Igbos, want to remain emotional. Even your more sensible Igbo brothers know there is nothing for Igbos in 2023 in PDP or APC. This is why they have now settled for playing spoiler to Yoruba ambition by pledging their 2023 vote, a whole four years in advance, for any Northerner they feel the PDP will present. Igbos did this to themselves with one mistake after another based on how they let hate of others cloud their judgement always. We will see. 1 Like |

helinues: After this situation you people have put us through because of greed, you really believe the SS will support a SW presidential candidate? I doubt majority of us will. And you have done your turn with OBJ. If you people spoilt the country just to rule, we will assist all of you in spoiling it. There is no how you would win a northern presidential candidate in 2023. Except for violent rigging. Take that to the bank. 4 Likes 1 Share |
