Nigerians are not serious, they will still say the same about Buhari when he leaves. They said the same about Obasanjo when Jonathan was there.

That's the truth. They think every one who voted Buhari hates Jonathan but forgot that the same Nigerians that voted Jonathan voted Buhari. These same Nigerians have no trust on Atiku to do anything better than Buhari even as Buhari is not doing so much better.

We have not found the best president but we are still looking for. Even when we find him, he will only has 8yrs.

Agree with you mostly, but President Buhari is not a Failure, far from it,governance is team work,William Zaha is a good player, but he ain’t winning the league with crystal palace.

The yardstick I use in labeling Muhammadu Buhari a failure is the condition of the lower class, the poor and the extreme poor. Buhari excels above GEJ in one important feature which is that he is not a stooge who will sit somewhere drinking ogogoro whilst looters loot the country expressly...but my grouse with Buhari is he is not proactive, nationalistic and aggressive with transforming this country. In the first year of office, he should have seriously purged the armed forces. He should ensured sweeping reforms in the security infrastructure of the country. He should have ensured that the police, army and all other armed forces embark on re-educational programs, raised their salaries, improved their access to better equipment and built a national database for all Nigerians with tracking details (social, economic and political status) embedded in new national ID cards which will be released to the public. In just one year, Buhari could have achieved this and I tell you this would have made Nigeria a relatively safer place for business, tourism, agriculture etc. But look at the Nigeria we have today. If you escape Kidnappers, you will also pray to escape robbers, you will also pray to escape ritualists, you will also pray to escape SARS, you will also pray not to fall into the hands of disgruntled soldiers...just imagine soldiers opening fire on members of the police force on a covert mission and claiming that it was an error. Even if for the sake of argument I accept this nonsense report as true it shows the lack of coordination and communication between the armed forces in Nigeria. Now tell me which investor will hear this on the news and still gladly come to Nigeria to invest?

Buhari should also have realized that the main reason for unemployment in Nigeria is not necessarily the lack of jobs or the lack of investors but the poor levels of human capital in Nigeria. There are lots of graduates leaving universities yearly who are basically low skilled manpower. They are no where close to being classified as skilled or highly skilled labour yet according to manpower economics tertiary institutions are meant to breed high level manpower or highly skilled manpower. A lot of MSc graduates are just as useless as the certificate they carry about and this is because our tertiary institutions are such a monumental failure at breeding highly skilled graduates. If Buhari really wanted to provided a long term solution to the growth and development crisis of Nigeria he would have pursued very stringent reforms in the tertiary education sector. He would have pumped significant funding into education at the tertiary level whilst pursuing anti-corruption measures in those institutions as well. Tertiary institutions would have been given targets to meet in terms of manpower capacity generation and tertiary institutions that fall short would have been severely penalized. But what has Buhari done in the education sector? Next to nothing, if not nothing.

Buhari recognizes that agriculture and transportation of agricultural items are the lifeblood of the country and that it is the source of our food security, a vital tool for poverty alleviation and a means of raising the standard of living of Nigerians. But Buhari is not taking this sector seriously. In 3 years the government could have funded and pursued research and development as well as investment in this sector. If food security is guaranteed poverty becomes a thing of the past but we are still lagging behind in this regard. Arable land is lying fallow in the North, South South, South East and South West and yet we are making billions of dollars from crude oil...what is Buhari really doing?

If Buhari can come up with solutions to insecurity, human capital deficit and agriculture on an industrial scale, I tell you Nigeria would have been set on a trajectory of accelerated growth and development...but we are yet to see this happen. Buhari at one point seemed to be a better replacement for GEJ but by my evaluation today he has not lived up to my expectations at all.

A political activist and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Timi Frank, has called on Nigerians, particularly those who worked against the re-election and sabotaged the former President Goodluck Jonathan to publicly tender an apology if the country must move forward.

Frank said unless Nigerians prefer to continue in pretence, the era of former President Jonathan managed well the challenge of insecurity compared to what the country has now.

In a statement Timi Frank released to newsmen in Abuja on Saturday, called on religious leaders, traditional rulers and all Nigerians who directly or indirectly worked against Jonathan's government to ask for forgiveness before it is too late.

Frank acknowledged that there were things Jonathan's government should have done better but in all Nigerians made a wrong choice of electing the current administration.

"I call on Nigerians that we should beg former President Goodluck Jonathan for wrongly voted him out and sabotaged his government. I must confess that as an APC figure in 2015, we fabricated many lies against Jonathan, though I have publicly apologised to him but other Nigerians, especially the pastors, Imams, traditional rulers and other opinion leaders should beg for forgiveness too.

"It is obvious now that insecurity in our Nation has gone out of hand. The challenge was limited to a zone under Goodluck Jonathan but presently no state, including General Buhari's home state is secured.

"Under Jonathan, Fulani herdsmen were using stick but they now carry AK 47. Under Jonathan, lives of Nigerians were more important despite the challenges but under Buhari, cows are more important than lives.

"There was democracy and rule of law under Jonathan but its now rule of force and impunity. Under Jonathan, National Assembly were active and working but its now a rubber stamp.

"Under Jonathan, Nigerians abroad were relocating back home but under Buhari Nigerians are running away. Under Jonathan Nigerians are respected all over the world but that has since gone under Buhari.

"Under Jonathan Nigerians were crying in tears but now Nigerians are crying in blood

"Under Jonathan, there was freedom of speech but that has long gone under the APC administration.

"Under Jonathan, poverty, hunger and unemployment were not as bad as it is today. Under Jonathan Nigeria was a unitedunited Nation but sentiments have taken over now.

"As it is now, all the institutions of government that were working well under Jonathan have all been blackmailed and politicised.

"So, I call on others who betrayed Jonathan to come out publicly and apologise to him. I also use this opportunity to appeal to former President Jonathan to forgive Nigerians and bless the Nation against the evils that have pervaded the land."

Frank said Nigerians should ask the APC administration what happened to the $1 Billion ECA money removed to fight insecurity in Nigeria.

He called on Nigerians to support a peaceful revolution to take back Nigeria to the good old days from the hands "evil men in power."

Signed
Comrade Timi Frank
Political activist
Abuja.

He handed the transcript of Nigeria to Buhari and if he had been fair to Nigeria Buhari will have no gut to change the legacy and still get reelected to continually reap poorly treated Nigeria without giving himself as sacrifice to the service of Nigeria. it is supposed to be an orgy of Heads of state as the man with the peg and the two major political parties as carrying the holes. Nigeria isn't a political party so majority of children/women and a few men don't belong to parties, they're grouped with the Presidency and they are the ones who reflect the conditional results of government. These section of government has become a tower of refuge for every criminal minded politician as they are known to try to built private charity foundation that is supposed to be an ngo with public fund and adopt helpless women as mothers and children as godson. This is not bad but the government has failed.

Nigeria as a country is designed to fail; no human can govern Nigeria or lead Nigeria to prosperity under the current structure.

Nigeria need a total restructuring of the system of government for things to work better.

Federal system isn't working.

Go back to regional system and let every region manage their region's security, revenue, border, etc.

Abokki alone knows how to protect their northern borders.

They know the language to tell their fellow terrorist brothers.

Igbos know how to tackle their brother doing drug related crimes.

Ijawsa and Urhobos know how to talk their militant brothers.

Yorubas know how to stop their money ritual crime best than any other person.

How can Police in a state be answerable to President

How can one man oversea 200million complex people scattered all over who he shares no similar culture or tradition with

Look at UK, they are made up 4 independent nations and that's why they are better off.

USA is made up of 52 independent nations under the name states, that's why they are prospering.

If Nigeria cannot restructure, then peaceful divide the failed nation called Nigeria for the better good of the people that make up Nigeria

Interesting.

You didn't read where I wrote that Abdulsami Abubakar and whatever peace association he headed ran quickly to Aso Rock to save Nigeria.

GEJ had no intention of relinquishing power. Whatever Abdulsami told him must have humbled him.

GEJ lost the battle in the Southwest. The North was always ever largely in Buhari's pocket. And the alliance that formed the APC proved too strong for PDP.

There was absolutely nothing that GEJ could have done aside relinquish power. The consequences of not relinquishing power would have been the end of him.
