A driver was shot dead today by a policeman at
New Park,Owerri road,Onitsha.According to an eyewitness who narrated the story,policemen stormed the park to arrest weed smokers.The deceased joined people at the park to run when policemen stormed the park.It was during the process that one of the policemen shot him dead.Angry mob blocked the roads and set tyres ablaze.

Even if he were among the weed smokers, does it justify his killing?

police has/have killed more civilians than kidnappers,armed robber,boko haram,bandits,fulani herds men,cow rustlers combined together,,,animal kindom! where those meant to protect their citizens are killing them either.

just when you want to have sympathy for police, that their colleagues were killed indiscriminately, that is when police displays their own form of indiscriminate killings. No be all police men gat hold gun. Police should be carrying out psychological test on their personnel from time to time.

Anyway, until an ordered is issued against police or men in uniform about killing civilians unjustly, this kind of issue will still continue.

In sane country killing an armed robber who is on run is a big crime let alone someone without a gun.
