This is India, almost all the people that did transplant in that country have not survived it.

The guy will probably be unconscious for a long period during the operation and anything can be removed, replaced or damaged inside his body which will be like a time bomb.

You really do need to understand the under table hand El Zakzaky is dealing.

When you chose a hospital, you dont chose their specialist. You dont request for external Drs to join the team, the hospital management is responsible for every Dr or nurse involved not the patient.

What i see is that he wants freedom and access to his Nigerian deputies so he can have secret communication on how they will forge further in their destructive attitude.

Don't forget his own Drs travelled with him but this doesn't mean they must partake in actual treatment. They will only vet or obrserve his treatment.

The question is, did he ask for his PP or other Drs or refuse treatment from the hospital he chose or request to stay in a 5 star hotel?

Do not forget, he is still technically in detention.

El zaky is probably looking for an avenue to escape hence the asking for his passport and freedom and I don't blame the fg for refusing him.

But on the other hand, this is life and we all know that people most times prefer doctors they are used to. If the FG is really sincere about this treatment, it can be done even with his own doctors.

El zaky is scared that once on the operation table unconscious he may never come back to life and nobody can blame the FG. A smooth assasination grin

By the bolded statement his personal Nigerian Drs are among the team that traveled with him to India.

However, according to medical practice, only the hospital management has the right to approve medical team to treat a patient. The hospital management must have sufficient reason to admit an external Dr to the team. Dont forget that his personal Drs are there as observes to approve every procedure. They may even be admited to the operating room but are not to participate until the Hospital management approves.

So, if the Drs in the hospital are the best, why would the hospital admit into the team a less experienced Dr? If the requested Dr is more experienced, why didn't El Zakzaky request for that Drs hospital? Am sure the hospital management will happily refer him to any other hospital if he feels that hospital is not capable. This must be done with approval of the Nigerian authorities.

I get your point. But in all honesty I believe El Zak's wants to run, asking for passport and wuthdrawal of police is a pointer to that, but he is also scared about going under the knife. He might never wake up.

What medical ethics are d talking about?No where in d world will a patient be forced to continue receiving care from a facility/doctor he says he is not comfortable with.
But he was allow for his choice of Hospital and the court did not give him permission for free movement or to be in an hotel room for visitors but only to go Indian for medical treatment .
