There you go. For those of you who come on this forum to proclaim your ardent support and vehemently defend this illegal regime, there you have it. These politicians take you for fools. But for this man going for treatment in India, this charade would have been hidden from the citizens. This really makes you wonder whatelse this illicit government is hiding from the people. And to Mr. Zakzaky's supporters, you truly had been had! While you were in the streets protesting and dying for your so called leader, him and his wife were enjoying the comforts that most of you can't even dream of.

What is this one saying... Can you read your post again

This is simply called Stockholm Syndrome. It's just a psychological issue. He was in detention in the real sense or it.

How is it his fault? How would he have known people are dying because of him? Or how exactly he could have helped them,by revealing he was safe with the govt's detention? This revelation should make you question the fg,how come someone they said was a security threat to the nation enjoyed all that benefits living beside the Senate president, meanwhile citizens were being killed for protesting his release?

It is simple psychology.

He said he was not in prison. That he was in detention in a house in a government area, near where the senate president live. That he was free to move around the house compound. We all know that he was in house arrest and not in a prison from the images circulated in the news when it was rumored that he had died. Even if he is in Aso Rock, if his freedom of movement and association are restricted, then that is called detention. He is held against his will. He was comparing his treatment in Nigeria to his treatment in India. He was more restricted in India that he couldn't leave his hospital room. The main problem about his trip to India that he complained of is being refused access to see his own doctors and a set of doctors unknown to him, whom he doesn't trust, presented to treat him.

Dem talk am before say Northern politicians lodged Boko Haram who kidnapped Chibok girls in mansions in Borno. It looked far fetched. But in Nigeria rumours are far more correct than Govt press releases.

So it should surprise nobody.

I think the government has not informed the public well. They have demonized Zakzaky and turned him into a terrorist that many people felt he was held in a prison, and his followers felt he was been maltreated.

The government should have simply maintained its narration of protective custody from the start. Then bring in journalists to highlight he was not treated badly. The government should simply make it clear he is been held to prevent him from rallying his many followers and causing traffic problems etc.

The attempt to demonize him can be seen as using a hammer to kill a fly. This man isn't as dangerous as we have been made to think. If he was that dangerous, after the Zaria Massacre and the killings targeting his followers and their processions, hell would have been let loose. Correctly informing the public, and seeking more diplomatic channels can actually solve this man's issues. Even the issues of disorderliness, blocking roads etc can all be resolved peacefully and alternatives presented, even if he is freed. Let them practice their religion but should not disturb others and should not act in any lawless manner.

Northern Nigeria is having the issues of Boko Haram and IMN and they somehow want to be separated from Nigeria if they have the chance to.

Eastern Nigeria is having issues of Ipob that want to separate from Nigeria under the canopy of biafra.

Western Nigeria decided to start their own by declaring a revolution.

Southern Nigeria that happens to be the power house of the Nation are all keeping quiet. We need not forget the days of militancy but if we imagine they rise up again then that means the whole of Nigeria might just be nose diving into a very crazy civil war.

Well the good part so far is that the security forces are doing a good job in putting off the fires that would have spread into something disastrous but we only hope and pray they can keep holding on.

My brother there are different types of slavery:-

1. Field Slavery
2. House Slavery
3. Mental slavery

Of the three above, Mental slavery is the worst and most dangerous. What makes them more dangerous is because although they are fee they remain in bondage and ready to kill and even die for their Masters (Slave owners). Hear what a slave abolitionist call Harriet Tubman once said:-

Nigerians are not smart at all, someone who is not in Kuje Prison. Where do you expect him to be if not under house arrest which can even be inside the Aso Rock. The only thing he don't enjoy is freedom of movement.
who said he doesn't enjoy freedom of movement , he said in d video that d soldiers are stationed out side d building that if he wants to go out they will escourt him , he tell them where he wants to go , they approve and escort him , this man is as free as a bird, d government are just taking us for granted

It means this Zaky man is not that smart or he is a double. See as he is happily "jabo" like a kid that is narrating his recent trip to Amusement park.
