Maybe it's just me feeling the cold too much, maybe it's the area, ( Shere Hills) I don't know but it's frigging cold here and worse at night.

Re: Coldest States In Nigeria by babajay109(m): 7:09pm On Aug 22, 2019
Correct one! kaduna is among the coldest. when i travelled there some years back during the hamattan period, i was advised to always put on some stockings at night but i ignored the warning sign, later i got some blisters on my feet that makes me cry when ever am taking my bath, it was a hell of experience.

Yeah, I heard same from Corp Members that camped in Mangu, same thing the camp officials told them.

There was even this story then that in Mangu, they killed criminals by pouring water on them and leave them tied up overnight outside, they died the next morning.

I don't think it's true though but the Corp members from Mangu at our fellowship then were feeding our ears repeatedly with the story. grin grin

U r right babe...U don't need to pour water on the criminals, dey will still die..That's my state. Pankshin is the coldest part of the state...U sometimes wake up to see dead bodies killed by cold in uncompleted buildings.

There's a town in Osun state where NIM training is done for Youth Corps. That town is as cold as Jos. That town is Rocky and hilly as well. Can someone help me with the name of that town

Maybe Iree; the coldest places in the South particularly during harmattan are Efon, Iyin, Oye, Obudu, Ngwo, Iree, Nsukka, etc
Re: Coldest States In Nigeria by mannatech: 7:14pm On Aug 22, 2019
Zaria cold no be here. Remember During my secondary school days there we dey always keep bucket of water for outside overnight for early bathing.
By the next morning, the harmattan cold go Don create a tiny layer of ice at the top of the water surface.

Good old days.

To some extent, you are right. Kaduna is colder than Kano even.

Funtua is colder than Zaria.

Zaria is the coldest in the whole of Kaduna State. While Funtua is the coldest in the whole of Katsina state.
I was born and raised in kaduna and schooled six years in Zaria but I only spent 2weeks in katsina lga February couple of years back. Bro, that cold Na die.

They seems not to know those places.. Gembu is far cooler than Jos!
