Alhaji Tanko Yakasai, a founding member of the Arewa Consultative Forum, is one of the most detribalised Nigerians. From his words on national issues to his actions in the political space, he has repeatedly proven that his interest in national development transcends ethnic sentiments.

He recently featured in an interview to discuss the incoming team of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second term in office. He explained why he thought the same stories, blame game and excuses will again repeat themselves.

On his expectations, he said “From 2015 when Buhari was elected to date, the solution I expected to happen to our problems – lack of power, unemployment, poverty, insecurity; they are, even more, they are worse than they were in 2015.

"May be?" Is this one on codein diet? It was always going to be a disaster. The dullard didn't suddenly become intelligent over night. The same stupidity he had in 2015 is still very much alive
