The Enugu State Government has ordered full autopsy on the body of Mrs. Regina Mba, the middle-aged woman who was allegedly killed in Nchatancha area of the state, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV had reported that some hoodlums, on Thursday, reportedly raped and stabbed Mrs Mba to death in cold blood, in Enugu East Local Government Area of the state.

This sparked protest as angry residents took to the streets, demanding the immediate sack of the Police Commissioner, Suleiman Balarabe, whom they accused of incompetency and high-handedness.

A statement sent to Igbere TV by the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, Prof. Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, said the autopsy will be carried out by the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital, Parklane.

According to Prof. Ortuanya, the medical exercise which will unravel the cause of death of Mrs Mba, is to assist the security agencies in their ongoing investigations into the incident.

Meanwhile, Igbere TV had reported that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, recently, inspected the ongoing demolition of caves and clearing of bushes used as hideouts by criminals operating in the state.

This is even as the governor, about two weeks ago, sent the Enugu Anti-kidnapping Bill (2019) to the State Assembly, aimed at employing 1,700 forest guards to ensure maximum security in the state.

Don't we have ambulance in this country? When people or even animals die or get injured, welfare state run ambulance service are called to convey them to the hospital. Here we use pick up trucks. No regard.

Try to learn more about autopsy. Any death that is not natural must be investigated through autopsy. That is what law says

Autopsy is part of investigation to reveal the killers. You cannot complete investigation of unnatural deaths without autopsy. Even autopsy procedures were carried out for victims of dana plane crash in lasuth.

i have stayed abroad for 14 year and i'm planning to stay more 50years until nigeria known as shit hole divided into 3 countries before i will go back..and jubril from sudanese,headmaster of ruga never condemn the killings going on in the country,only thing he know is traveling abroad to witness the fresh air in another mans countries,r.i.p to the dead..

why not just give her family the money meant for the autopsy. she died of severe pains from a stab. or were they thinking the rapist poisend their DICKs n Bleep her? confused country
