Like someone said, review the tax laws & then eliminate double taxation.

You can't be pushing for cashless transactions & be enforcing policies that would discourage such transactions.

Pmb's administration is rudderless & incoherent.

So I buy something and they charge me vat, I transfer funds to pay for the thing I bought and they also charge me vat?
Abi he is referring to online based shops/market related transactions like jumia etc, maybe they are not captured yet on vat payment.

This is nothing but a stupid ideology from an ineptitude unguided government. What have they done with our oil money so far? I pay triple tax in Edo state, and now am to pay tax after paying tax, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, if you ask what is my opinion, I would tell you "Stupid" God will crash this government and crash all evil leaders too. God our hiding place. I will move to bitcoin.

I think the 5% vat will apply to cash transactions done over the internet. This should include paying for items purchased on the internet (i.e jumia), fund transfer over the internet (i.e using your mobile banking app).
