Even seeing a Taxi filled up with only able bodied young men or a bus filled up with only able bodied young men will attract police scrutiny. If it's a check point on the high way the bus or taxi may be packed and searched. It's normal. It's being security conscious.
Now you have 123 able bodied young men inside a trailer meant to carry only goods. Plus dozens of bikes which many may not even have complete registration and insurance papers. Natural instincts determines that they should be packed an interrogated. But should be set free immediately it's confirmed they have no robbery or terrorist link.
In the same way a bus or trailer filled with only young girl should also be parked and investigated for any human trafficking link.
Prevention is better than cure. But this should be done in an orderly and decent manner.
your brain still dey function!

Hausas have overtaken bike business in lagos.

Every street in lagos has at least 20 hausa biker men playing the street knowing who is who and who leaves where and what time anyone in that street leaves and return from work, as well as the kids and wives of every household

Should miyati Allah give an executive order today those guys would overrun lagos in 24 hours.

My great fear

Those bikes are stolen bikes, no papers

You are brilliant

The police now went to the office of Lagos state task force and ordered their release. Very strange.

They said nothing incriminating. Ohh really. Did the motorcycles have valid papers?

The men were from the north. Hmm Are some people from certain parts of the country more superior than other from other parts of the country?

NPF i know can find 101 reasons why these men must not be released. Bail money too go full repete at the end of the day.

In SW after some northerner and indigenes had a clash. It was only the indigenes that were picked up and whisked to Abuja. In the north if a clash btw the indigenes and those of the south it will be buried like e neva happen

Niger & Chad are part of Northern Nigeria. You have Ghanaian, Togolese & Cotonou people in Lagos, despite their affinity with South West Nigeria, they retained their identity. Niger & Chad people will always claim Nigeria by mentioning one Northern State in Nigeria. There is a problem on ground.

Lagos had better enforce the okada ban within business districts, these miscreants need to be discouraged from migrating down south.

Bastard northern politicians create these poverty-stricken youth by the truckload and export them to other geopolitical regions of the country.

Don't mind this LASG and their somersault behavior sometimes. On one hand, you are seizing motorbikes for traffic violations and lack of proper permit and registration. Yet you fortunately, due to public vigilance, intercept a trailer load of people with motorbikes. Rightly detained them for investigation, then you release them. Ok fine, good. But what of the motorbikes? Did they have proper documentation? Are the riders qualified to ride okada in Lagos? That's why you see aboki okadas everywhere in Lagos, most of whom never obey traffic laws, drives anyhow, constitute public nuisance, damage motorists vehicles on the road due to their reckless okada driving, cause accidents, and engage in crime whenever opportune. Those guys should have been sent back to wherever they came from.
