Is really a pity wat South Africans are doing to Nigerians yet our government are not doing anything could it be because of bride they're taking from South African companies in Nigeria. Oh God wat type of leaders do we have in Nigeria. Nigeria can't have something like MTN, Shoprite, or DSTV yet were boasting to be giant of Africa. Maybe were only giant of Africa in corruption alone

Angry Nigerians on Twitter in reaction to killing of their fellow countrymen in xenophobic attacks launched by South Africans have vowed to boycott MTN, Shoprite, Stanbic, DSTV and other businesses in Nigeria owned by South Africans.

Recall Igbere TV reported earlier that properties includings cars which belong to Nigerians in the country, was set on fire by South Africans. Shops belonging to Nigerians was also looted by South Africans as captured in a viral video.

President of the Nigeria Union South Africa, Adetola Olubajo, had said that recent attacks began on Sunday morning in Jeppestown area of Johannesburg.

Mr Olubajo said in a statement on Monday that the mob “looted several shops that were around the vicinity suspected to be owned by foreign nationals.”

Reacting to the development, Nigerians have urged each other to take action against South Africans.

. Fools how does that solve the situation. Do u know how many Nigerians those companies employ? If you dont have competitive indegenious companies those moves are counter productive

The fact is that , I am not tribalistic but some of you igbos on nairaland are too tribalistic in everything you do on here. You people ooze out tribalism. You don't respect others at all. We could have some misunderstanding, but the way you guys in high numbers talk or react to issues unguarded is so appalling. Recent example, is the sowore issue, see how you guy all over social media conduct yourselves. I will always say this - the greatest undoing of the Igbo people is their perceived disrespect to other tribes, they are quick to react and fire up on issues that can be resolved and this can be traced to their cultural antecedent. I served there as a corp member, the rate of disrespect amongst themselves- children to father or mother, younger ones to older ones , students to teachers etc it was sickening then. As it stands now, the igbos needed the unity of this nation more cos It seem the gang up against Nigerians are on the rise in foreign countries and you guys constitute the highest number of Nigerians staying abroad....

Ipob should just go and burn that shop rite at umuahia because majority of people killed are igbos.

Since the xenophobic attack started, I have been critical of it and lending a voice against it cos I am a Nigerian first and foremost. The world daily sees us a disunited country taking advantage hence, the increased attack on us. LET'S BE UNITY AND STOP BEING TRIBALISTIC AND BIAS IN EVERYTHING esp. We youths . be quick to listen but slow to reply or react...emotional intelligence is one of the key. Stop coming on social media to vent or rant because of your emotions.... I smh at times when i check on nairaland...curses....abuses etc..on issues that don't even make sense. Study situations well and ruminate on the kind of response to give if needed be at all...look and pass sometimes cos not every post or issues you must have input or comment on...let's work on ourselves to become better. Most of all these people we clash over are ALL UNITED IN CORRUPTION, I TELL YOU...they agree within a twinkle of an eye, if there interests are served...you will see them(politicians and other leaders) fight today but before you know it , they smiling and embracing themselves but we follower and youth be engaging on social media wars and shrewding ourselves into pieces

Do you know why SA can confidently do the sh*t they do, it's because they've seen a country so divided among themselves internally that they can barely stay united and speak with one voice against foreign attacks.
And to think some retards here on nairaland are saying the Nigerians there are just from a particular tribe, shows how low we've gone as a country. As a matter of fact, Nigeria can no longer be called a country if a fellow countryman can say sh*t about his own countryman in the full view of other nationals.
Nigeria will continue to be volatile to foreign attacks in other countries if we continue to be disunited. The world is watching, let the retards, tribalists and olodos take note of that

Nigerians have no mental stamina to boycott anything...

South Africans want you out of their country, and you Nigerians still refuse to clearly see the root of the problem.

Nigeria as a nation is too strong, too wealthy and too big for any Nigerian to be experiencing such a despicable scenario...
There is absolutely no reason for any african country or any other country around the world to be publicly fuccking with Nigerians...Only if our blood sucking leaders stop stealing our money...and do what is right, WE HAVE NO BUSINESS IN SOUTH AFRICA.

South Africans are not the enemies, our heartless leaders remain our number 1 enemy...
