Assuming these our corrupt and greedy leaders had made this country habitable to her citizens, our people won't have been victims of these xenophobic attacks in S.A.

Nigerians home and abroad need to stand up and fight for this Country or else there won't be a safe haven for any Nigerian.

Federal government under Buhari is a toothless bulldog. The only people he can flex his muscles to oppress are Nigerians, at least his counterpart Abacha was feared by other African nations.

Does that mean the Nigerians on SA would have to wait till October when the leaders meet before respite could come their way?

That does not appear as an urgent step this situation requires.

Exactly my thought

Did this shame act by SA started today? Hell no! SA simply took on this xenophobic attack mode because of how it must have seen all the injustices & oppressive tendencies the Nigerian govt have meted out to its own people.Charity begins from home.

Nigerians revolt: Foreign nationals threaten to unleash revenge in South Africa
In response to the targeted xenophobic violence, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) called for the South African government to either get a hold of the situation that’s been taking place in Gauteng or deal with the consequence of more than 120 South African companies in Nigeria being forced to close up shop.

— L E K A U (@lekau_101) September 3, 2019
This ultimatum was later echoed by the Nigerian government who, on Twitter, stated that:
“The continuing attacks on Nigerian nationals and businesses in South Africans are unacceptable. Enough is enough. Nigeria will take defensive measures to ensure the safety and protection of its citizens.”
Following the tweets of the Government of Nigeria and the Nigerian Foreign Affairs Minister, its fair to say South Africa is the brink of a diplomatic crisis with Nigeria

Those people that are attacked in South Africa are not Nigerians, they are Biafran drug dealers.
It's none of our business what happens to Biafrans, let them ask Nnamdi Kanu for help.

So we are still planning further steps for this long? I watched a video of a Mozambican man being burnt alive on twitter yesterday..... And South Africans surrounded him and were videoing him.
I just felt sick watching that. I hope AU and other African countries individually take stronger measures against South Africans and their businesses outside their country.
The truth is that, these has been going on for too long and we were hoping they will change, but they haven't.... And it will only get worse if we don't take stronger measures on them.

For those of you that haven't been to SA or don't know much about them..... Lemme just say this... SA is so divided along tribal lines, such that even if all the foreign nationals vacate, it won't change anything.... They will still continue killing each other.
Yeah, some foreign nationals sell drugs, but you can't do drug business over there without the help of the locals, so what you see them doing now is just looking for a scapegoat to blame for their actions.
The Zulus hate the whites, apart from hating the whites, they hate the Xhosas (blacks) and other minority tribes who they see as inferior to them.
I've not even talked about the high crime rate being perpetrated by their own citizens, rape in the inner cities of Cape Town and Jo'burg.
I'll rather relocate to Ghana than to SA. I just hope our government can relocate our citizens back home.
well said.
There is nothing that I don't know about SA. The high crime there is too much and most these crimes are perpetrated by her citizens.

In SA, there are 7official languages and out of these 7, Zulus are the majority but other minority tribes like Xhosa, Ndembele,Swahili etc hate one another. Nigerians on the other hand have engaged in drugs and some fake pastors have engage in drugs. They are using ladies in some Guest houses under the pretence of God's ministry.

This xhenobia is not a one sided fault but to both.
