Popular cleric, Apostle Suleiman has reacted to the looting of shoprite and other stores across the nation yesterday, in apparent response to the Xenophobic attacks. He feels it shows our barbaric side by taking advantage of a negative situation to steal and wreck extra havoc to innocents.

I just heard people been robbed fellow Nigerians in lagos and claiming it's a reprisal to the attack of south Africans on nigerians.must we capitalise on ills to hurt people?it's wrong..we can't be working to solve an issue and another brewing at home..stop pls..

It's sad and shows the state of the country. People saw an opportunity to steal and grabbed it with both hands.

sad As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i condemn the actions of miscreants parading themselves as nationalist to rob shoprite and it's evirons. We Yoruba Christians should be careful with our involvement in this because the majority of Nigerians in south Africa doing drugs and other illegality are from the south east yet the igbos are not looting nor causing problems in their region. If the igbos could ignore the revolution now protest in lagos tagging it a yoruba protest while mocking sowore's predicaments, why should we now destabilize Yoruba land because of Igbos dying in south Africa? Yoruba Ronu o sad

there would always be criminals that would seize the opportunity to operate, if you attack an MTN office or shoprite you are effecting Nigerian more than south African.

best thing is to put pressure on the government to nationalise these south African companies, and also create alternatives, we already have glo, airtel e.t.c

we also have SPAR as an alternative to shoprite, we just need to upgrade services and we can do far better than those lazy fools, if it weren't for the whites there that country would have been a slum.

I blame our useless and corrupt government for this insult, cos if they weren't looting funds and even individually investing in those countries, I have heard of politicians that own airlines and universities there

I blame the recent unfortunate attacks on certain business interests considered to have links with South Africa on our FG. Their response to d relentless and systematic attacks on SA based Nigerians has been weak. We are now just a trigger away from a full blown anarchy at home.

It's the 5% that are being slaughtered in SA...So it's not the Government's business angry

In other news, Yorubas are blaming ibos for zenophobia....

Nigerians are being killed by foreigners, but all this nitwit could come up with was to blame Ibos grin

He has spoken about the plight of Nigerians in SA more than your Politician President.
Part of his calling is not to keep quiet when the body of Christ is under attack. Most of the looted shops in ShopRite belongs to Nigerians
