Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that Nigerians that attend the World Economic Forum in South Africa deserve to be sent to Nuremberg, Germany for the next yam festival.

According to the former Minister, those that attended the summit are pissing on the blood and dancing on the graves of their compatriots that have been tortured, maimed and butchered in the streets of South Africa.

He wrote; “Nigerians that attend the World Economic Forum in South Africa deserve to be sent to Nuremberg, Germany for the next yam festival!

This is coming hours after Oby Ezekwesili, came under fire for attending the ongoing World Economic Forum in South Africa despite federal government’s boycott of the event over xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in the country.

Igbere TV had reported that Nigeria, alongside African countries like Rwanda, Malawi and DR Congo, boycotted the two-day summit holding in Cape Town following the attack on foreigners in South Africa.

Ezkwesili earned heavy criticisms from Nigerians after photos of her attending the summit surfaced on social media.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, was among those to first criticize the former presidential candidate in the last general election.

Other critics claimed that Mrs Ezekwesili could not afford to boycott the event because of “her love for dollars” and the “camera”.

Apart from the former Minister, Founder of Zenith Bank, Jim Ovia, was also spotted at the event and currently being dragged on Twitter alongside Oby.

Ezekwesili do no wrong as I didn't see anything wrong in her actions.

Other govts made their decision of not attending earlier but buhari and his govt dragged there feet.

Anyway whether ezekwesili or ovia attended or did not attend it won't and doesn't change anything.

Oby and Ovia are hopeless nonentities. And Oby said she is at WEF to tell the SA president what? What does she have to say that he hasn't already heard? Did the attack start today? How many top South African politicians has she ever heard condem their acts? Those who did probably did so to save faces. How long did it take SA president to address his people about the xenophobic attacks?

Most South Africans think alike and they have made it obvious that they dont want foreigners. If small countries like Zambia,Rwanda,DRC,Zimbabwe etc can boycott the WEF summit,why go there to show ur grammatical prowess?

Indeed history has it that boycotting such events passes a stronger message but will ITK allow her to understand? I think the answer is NO.

The most effective solution to the xenophobic attacks is for AU to cut economic ties with South Africa. They are already complaining of hunger but the kind of hunger they will experience will be too unbearable for them.
