Akon is somewhat under fire for saying he signed Wizkid and Davido back in the days, to help their careers but it later turned out sour.

In a interview with The breakfast Club, the American singer made revelation about Nigeria's biggest acts, Psquare, Wizkid and Davido and how "in Africa, especially in Nigeria, music contracts are not honoured.

Furthermore, he added that he loves the two artists regardless, but David more for his independent nature and his hustling spirit despite his struggles in Atlanta as a young musician.

Talking about Afrobeat as well, he claimed he was the one that shipped that kind of music to the world.

Smh.... can we stop the habit of biting the hand that fed you? must we always be ungrateful.even if you have passed that stage, there was a time you needed him to succeed.at least respect that.this habit is not just with musicians but Nigerian youths and this behaviour makes it harder for those coming behind you.its always all About money for us.our work relationships are so fickle forgetting that relationships are more sustainable than money.look at Warner Brothers for example.how come greed or money didn't seperate them?

Africa is great but our self destructive decisions and actions keep choking us from having sustainable human resources that generates money

my point is why didn't he make reference to them negatively, why Nigerians?

When 3 or more people are saying something negatively about you and their words are similar then it's time to check yourself.nigerians need to take responsibility and accountability for how we have given these people justification to talk about us negatively

no one is denying the fact that some nigerians out there are criminals ,no one is justifying our bad actions,in every country there are bad ones who do bad in other countries. My point is we have all acknowledged the fact,so what next?...davido n wizkid are already made now,so what was akon's purpose of digging out this old deed?

....... And you replied to a stupid comment. I wonder who is the more stupid. Now I wasn't trying to be funny in any way, forget the emoji. Just looking and analyzing your so called stupid comment, let me ask you , why do foreigners do business with us. You know why, because we are better , we are greater, we just haven't opened our eyes that's all. Open your eyes , you will see that the do called developed countries live in a time bomb. Be good hwkd

Please tell me something, you seem to know more about "developed countries"

1. Are there no poor people in developed countries?

2. Do people die in developed countries?

3. Do they experience arm robbery, killing, shooting ?

4. Is there no corruption there?

So before you tell me the damage is minimal, answer the above and tell me what developed countries are like. Kashoggi was brutally killed in a developed country right by a developed country right? Make light and houses and cars no deceive you, you can do much better

So what is developed and what is a country?

If you get the definitions, you'll know if Nigeria is there or not

Forget about that statement of yours. Nigeria does not even met the requirements of a fourth world country.. Take that to the bank
