The honourable minister of Information, Alhaji Laid Mohammed has sparked mixed reactions over a statement he made during a media chat over President Buhari's certificate.

In the 7am program carefully monitored by Zenithnaija, Lai Mohammed appealed to Nigerians to pardon Mr President over his certificate.

Further speaking and without mincing words, he said;

"It’s been 53 years the Nigerian President left secondary school and he doesn’t even know where he kept his certificate".

Even Obasanjo & all the army generals that are Buhari's contemporaries, in all their fight against him, have never mentioned he doesn't have a WAEC certificate. Yet you, who have no secondary school in your town in 1961 know more than them & WAEC!

His school principal presented his testimonial & statement of results, but it was unacceptable to you!
His classmates among eminent Nigerians today & also elder statesmen confessed he wrote WAEC with them & even presented group pictures of the class of Katsina Provincial College 1961, you say it's all hogwash!

WAEC searched their achieves & discovered he not only sat for the exams but passed with good grade prompting them to issue him a replacement certificate but you begin to pick idiotic holes in the document!

At the presidential election petition tribunal, Cambridge, in charge of WASCE in 1961 had to send his certificate which exactlty matched the one WAEC earlier issued directly to the tribunal but their mumu still no do!

They proceeded to the supreme court & there yesterday were disgraced by their own very justice of the supreme court, Mary Odili who told them point blank to geerrraaaa outta of her court & stop their imbecilic wasting of the time of the court & Nigerians.
What a shame!!
