Barça Women emphatically won their first ever encounter at their new home, the Johan Cruyff Stadium. The Blaugrana started the competition with an excellent win against CD Tacón (9-1). Alexia opened the scoring in a match where everything went right, and Jenni Hermoso was able to complete an opening day hat-trick.

Barça dominion from the start

Lluis Cortés's team took the game to their opponents from the first whistle. Alexia made history by opening the scoring, thanks to Mariona's assist (1-0, min 8 ). Barça continued to press and create chances until, via a play through the middle, Aitana made it 2-0 (min 28).

Visiting keeper, Yohana Gómez, managed to repel a number of blaugrana attacks before Lucía Suárez added a third (3-0, min 36) and, later, assisted Mariona (4-0, min 40). Jessica Martínez managed to pull one back for the visitors after the break (4-1, min 54), but the hosts followed their plan perfectly. Aitana (5-1, min 60) and Graham (6-1, min 70) extended the lead before Jenni Hermoso hit an 18 minute hat-trick to finish a dream start.
