So how many people was killed in South Africa Abi e no concern you

I like it when a government is proactive!!!

These developed nation don't toy with their people!!!

They would have sent security to protect the indigenous stores while they ignore the South African Stores!!!

Sanwo-Olu, you are the CSO of Lagos State don't come here crying foul!!!

Be proactive! You owe it to Lagosians!!!

No Nigerian died in the Xenophobic attack.
Stop supporting thieves and burglars.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed that the anti-xenophobic protest which went wrong, led to loss of over 5,000 jobs in the state.

Sanwo-Olu condemned looting of goods in the shopping malls and also disclosed the number of jobs lost during an inspection of some facilities damaged during the protest which was hijacked by hoodlums. He said victims of the attack were indigenous stores and not even South African-owned businesses.

its so funny reading the same silly pikins who curse buhari about the state of the nation everyday, blithely talking ignorantly

i was at shoprite festac on saturday

place is still closed

the shoprite proper has security guards , checkout personnel, managers, stackers - anything from 20 to 40 staff
theres a new eatery - bukka hut - that has at least 10 to 12 staff [cooks, cleaners, servers, etc]
your average store has 3 to 5 staff [skechers, office depot, miniso, etc], and there are at least 10 to 15 shops
you also have debonair pizza, mr biggs, the cinema, ice cream shops
you have the staff manning entrance, exit and the tokens

none of these people are working right now.

shoprite festac alone probably accounts for 400 to 500 workers , maybe more.

and that is shoprite festac. now think of a much bigger mall like shoprite lekki which actually had destruction and which may remian closed until all insurance issues are sorted out.

this is what the looters and those foolish, brain dead , cognitively challenged jokers supporting them have achieved. businesses are shut down, and staff are going unpaid.

Talk is cheap!!! You are only saying that because you have not lost a loved one cum breadwinner(s)

Though I didn't lose anyone but do you know that some of these people killed are the breadwinners in their families

Some, their parents could also be aged Where do they start from

This is the documentary, I expected our media house to flash their beam light on!!! How are the families coping with the news of the death

So until you know that, don't come here saying what you don't know!!! Na so life easy We are talking of a life, you are talking if properties Which is more important

I don't support vandalism but destroying South Africans properties is reasonable on the side of Nigerians comparing to loss of lives!!!

And if you think I am not reasonable enough when next you see the Mob going to attack the south Africans store, stop them and repeat what you have just told me.

Goodluck!!!
Can you mention just one name of a Nigerian that was killed in South Africa?

what concerns sanwolu most is the taxes that comes from these businesses not the inconsequential lives of nigerians who escaped from this shithole and were successful in south africa and paying taxes to the south africa government.
this is how the average zoo politician thinks.
these vultures have no religion or ethnicity, their only ethnic group is their fellow politicians and their only religion is to impoverish and keep nigerians down while riding on the horse of tribalism with the agbada of religion

Why is the Nigerian government making it look like we lost more in standing up against the killings of Nigerians in South Africa ?

Are they trying to scare the people into not protesting again I'm future ?

Why is Nigerian government more concerned with making the reaction look bad instead of trying to ensure that there will be Justice for those killed in SA?

What a country

Nigeria actually lost more! How is looting Nigerian businesses standing up to SA? Use your brain na.

They have killed Nigerians in SA, we have looted shops of our own citizens, tell me how will the looting of shoprite affect SA? How have we not lost more?

Those looters are not protesting anything, they are all opportunistic thieves who just wanted to steal and loot. There is hunger in the land and opportunities like this is what hungry people take advantage of. I can't blame them though.

Ensuring justice for those that have been affected in SA is not by looting ourselves here. If govt want to retaliate there are better ways to do it. Trying to tacitly support looting as a form of revenge is rather stupid to say the least.

You did not even add Nigerians that are in the business of supplying one product or the other to these shoprite malls.

How did such happen? Who sacked them? Are these businesses will no longer oprate in Nigeria? Our politicians will just talk without thinking. With this statement, South Africa will believe that they are the people feeding Nigerians. That is why they don't respect us as a country. Even, Jonathan, the man we described as clueless, dealt with South Africa, and they tendered apology on the issue of yellow fever card. We must be reasonable in all our thinking. With the atrocities committed by the people of South Africa, their government still supported them. Our leaders must be reasonable enough.

Comments here show that 80% of Nigerians supported the lootings of their fellow Nigerian businesses in ShopRite. Its official some black people reason a little higher than animals.

Am so so shock reading comments here.

Point of correction "Most Blacks" reason like wild Animals.

South Africa looted and killed Nigerians... Nigerians in anger started looting themselves.

At the end Nigeria lost both home and away.

I am happy some people still reason straight.
I am totally perplexed how looting franchises and Nigerian owned businesses is equivalent to revenge.
